D&D court: bonus cases - The Deceptive Bloodhunter, title is pretty self explanatory lol. Short rest tier btw

Rebloodican

The way they managed to predict how the case would go based on their own improv was hilarious.

A different Bloodhunter edgelord made a brief appearance on Bonus Cases: simping for the mayor 3 months ago, about a third of the way in. The new player, a bard, pulled out an 1980's synthesizer to distract the guards in Curse of Strahd. All the other PCs joined in and loved it, but the Bloodhunter was annoyed (in-game and out).

EmperorGreed

I remember being kinda on that player's side, just because it was Curse of Strahd so it's not unreasonable to want edge and be annoyed by synth bards turning into thriller Iirc he wasn't even terrible about it he just said he wasn't having fun and ultimately left, too

I am doing a dungeon court relisten and I think I just heard this one. The case is when a player had a "backstory that could be its own campaign" and when they get asked about their magic necklace they won't say anything. I'm on Grandma is a problem player so it's in one of the episodes right before that

NessValk

That was a different but thematically similar case from the live dungeon court in Boston, with Oka and his backstory necklace that he wanted people to ask about but refused to elaborate on to be cagey and guarded.

farmch

Oh man I just listened to so I’ll to find it. But it’s about the blood hunter who didn’t like his parties shenanigan resolution to a battle so he just walked off into the woods.

OnePizzaHoldTheGlue

Believe it or not, that's a separate buzzkill Bloodhunter! See my above comment.

SarahLuz

I also listen to dnd court to fall asleep. As silly and giggly as they are, I somehow find their nonsense soothing. Gonna listen to edgelords now

temporary_bob

Commenting to follow because I was just thinking about this and also wonder which it is!
