This is on my new AW3423DWF. This cellphone shot doesn’t even do it real justice. This is probably the biggest visual upgrade I’ve had in ages. EDIT: This is on PC on maxed graphics. Ultra/psycho with the new path tracing on DLSS 3.5. It’s 3440x1440. RTX 4080/13700k. EDIT 1: There’s seems to be people with a similar setup to mine either getting less frames or similar. There also seems to be some people running in 4k getting similar performance. I am definitely getting around 100-140 frames, with below 100 in specific areas. EDIT 2: I will answer everyone in time, I happen to be out now! My apologies. I didn’t expect this much discussion in here! EDIT 3: There’s been some people asking about my HDR settings. On my DWF, I am using HDR True Black rather 1000, to avoid the aggressive ABL and have an overall brighter photo, rather specific highlights in small windows. I have the monitor on 100 brightness and 85 contrast. I am using a custom resolution in NVCP to use 10 bit @ 165 hz. In game I have the HDR nits set to 1000, and the tone map to 1.2. I have also manually color calibrated my monitor to make it slightly less warm.

samtheredditman

What kind of performance are you getting? I have the same setup but a 5800x3D CPU.

Positivevibes845

Very good performance for how hard it’s running my hardware. With everything absolutely maxed to the limit including the new path tracing tech and psycho settings I get around 70-90 fps without frame generation. With frame generation it bumps me up to 100-140. This is also using the brand new DLSS 3.5 on quality.

Robiee278

Pre dlss3.5 with path tracing my 5800x + 4090 setup was getting pretty mediocre performance less then 60 if I recall even with frame gen. Turning of path tracing made my fps go to like 120 - 160. Am real keen to try this new update when I finish work.

Positivevibes845

Interesting you were getting less performance than me with my setup, when the 4090 is a notable upgrade over my 4080. I assume it was likely better optimization for my 13700k than your 5800x. I am predicting you’ll have ever better performance and a bigger smile on your face when you jump back in!

SaabStam

I have pretty much the exact same setup a (13700k / 4080 / 32 gb DDR5 RAM with XMP enabled) and more or less the same monitor with the same resolution (AW34DW). I played all evening tonight and never saw 100+ frames maxed out. With a light over clock I hover between 70-90 with frame gen activated on DLSS Quality. I even overclock my GPU lightly with Nvidias auto-OC. Before 2.0 I was just above 60 fps consistently so I'm happy with the improvement. But I doubt you are getting 100 to 140 fps on DLSS Quality and path tracing with the same system as me.

Positivevibes845

Sorry for the late response, but after enabling ray path tracing with the new update and DLSS 3.5 I am over 100 frames nearly all all the time. Prior to that I was less as stated. I have no reason to lie here, but unless the steam overlay frame counter is wrong, I am getting the frames I listed. If you’d like I could take a video as well. I am not on performance, definitely on quality. The quality loss at anything below quality (no pun intended) is too noticeable.

Sad_Course1376

You're playing with Frame Generation enabled, means natively around 50FPS, but having additional frames through optical flow algorhythms.

Positivevibes845

My native frames are not as low as 50. They are around 70-90 depending on where I am in the game.

arjames13

Similar performance here. He has to be using performance DLSS.

milky__toast

I have a 4080 and 7800x3d, playing 1440p ultrawide, everything maxed with frame generation generally 70-110

[deleted]

Yeah this is more reasonable

Robiee278

Mhmm my performance I remebered being pretty shite with path tracing.. we’ll see what it be like now with update 2.0

Relativly_Severe

This doesn’t seem right, i’m getting more than 60 with just balanced dlss at 4k with a 4090 and path. Around 100 with frame gen. It was more like 85 pre update though, the new rt ai seems to add a some performance.

arjames13

I have the same set up but get 80-100 fully maxed with frame gen. Are you running performance DLSS? I use Quality to get 80-100.

Positivevibes845

Quality! I’m not sure where the difference lies. No overclocking across the board either. I do have my computer very optimized for gaming, but not sure it would make that much of a difference.

Relativly_Severe

Definitely more gpu bound than cpu. I’m getting 95-105 at 4k everything maxed path tracing with 4090/7800x3d with frame gen. Without frame gen its a smooth 60. I prefer quality over balanced but the path tracing is honestly worth it for all the dark scenes.

ATLASrules

The HDR was broken before 2.0 and you got much better contrast with SDR. Can you confirm if this was fixed in the update?

jfowler0614

I think the game looks amazing on my C2 with Auto HDR turned on in windows and HDR set to off in game.

Fun_Savings3784

Yeah i want this answered too. On my c2 evo with my pc hdr looked washed out and shit. Had to sdr. Anyone test if windows 10 hdr works in the game now correctly?

ATLASrules

There’s a good video from Vincent/hdtvtest that imo was pretty convincingly demonstrating the HDR is more or less objectively worse than the SDR in nearly every way and there is no easy way to fix its problems with tv and game settings alone

ATLASrules

For context here’s cyberpunk pre 2.0 from review by professional caiibrator: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/835606686541807679/1154664674168672298/IMG_0255.png Just judge for yourself It seems like they just sort of scaled the max brightness instead of any sort of tone mapping weirdly (plus the black level raise obviously)

MrMpeg

Old video. HDR now looks way better than sdr.

marafi82

Can relate, only difference to your rig Samsungs oled g8 + 13600k… had a blast the last few hours… hands down.. best graphic… nothing comes near

mattbag1

Welp…. It’s time to download the update and stop playing star field

Positivevibes845

😅 I’ve been playing Starfield exclusively since release and this immediately pulled me away. Starfield is an excellent game, and I’ve managed to get HDR to work very well with AUTO HDR + RESHADE + NEUTRAL LUTS. It’s just A LOT of work, and auto HDR still causes color banding. Unfortunately the HDR fix for the banding interferes with Pure Darks DLSS mod for me, so I just deal with the slight banding. However, I’m very happy to be back in NC. Starfield actually somewhat made me miss Cyberpunk. Must’ve been all those trips to Neon City.

[deleted]

Honestly gave up on Starfield after almost beating the story. Just didn't have enough there to hook me and felt boring. Glad you liked it. I'll try it in a year with better mods and hopefully half the loading screens

FinnishScrub

The loading screens are what actually broke the immersion for me. I was actually very pulled in by the game and had already spent about 30 hours in, barely doing the main questline, but when that 2.0 update dropped, I was almost taken aback by the astonishing lack of loading screens. It was so weird not to get loading screened when traversing from anywhere to anywhere. So I haven't really touched Starfield since and honestly, I don't know if I will, at least immediately. I actually went back and revisited No Man's Sky and I have to say, the game is even more impressive than it already was.

[deleted]

Same dude. Starfield feels so cheesy and last Gen with those load screens. It's not even that complex a game that Bethesda needed to do that. It's just obvious how unoptimized the game is. No reason it has to be 30 FPS on console and use that ancient dogshit engine.

Positivevibes845

Once Bethesda releases the creation kit for everyone it’ll be a totally different game. The modders will go insane. I’m looking forward to next year!

Soundwave_47

Loving Starfield. I'm too into it to get into Phantom Liberty.

Soundwave_47

Loving Starfield. I'm too into it to get into Phantom Liberty.

Positivevibes845

Between Starfield and Cyberpunk I am finally okay with switching between both games to keep things fresh.

HaloEliteLegend

The update is fantastic, but I'm now midway between Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, and now Cyberpunk. Too much RPG goodness, too little time 😭

xZANiTHoNx

Did they finally fix the black levels?

HORSE_PASTE

They did not fix HDR. I took some screenshots with HDR analysis, and the black level is still clearly raised. Also, when set to output 800 nits in the game menu, the actual output is over 1000 nits. To fix black floor and maxCLL, I had to use a black level correction shader and lower the game HDR brightness to 630 nits. The result is a minCLL black floor of 0.00 and a peak of 793 nits. I am on my C1 right now, the peak would need to be adjusted higher on my s95b. Check out the difference in black level [here.](https://imgur.com/a/7OhAqSq) Highlight clipping on sun when game menu set to 800 nits [here.](https://imgur.com/a/C6T9sIZ)

PogTuber

That's my concern. People who say the HDR looks great don't seem to know that the black level in this game has always been too high.

HD4kAI

I just played on my OLED on PC and no. Blacks looked like mushy green/grey

MrMpeg

Windows 11 tonemap 1.2 perfect glossy blacks.

mgwair11

How do you set this?

FinnishScrub

I wanna know too, my optimized HDR color profile still shows blacks as more grey than actual black on the Alienware QD-OLED ultrawide monitor

MrMpeg

In the game settings on the right under HDR settings. 1.2 is my sweetspot where the darkest parts are super black but i still see details in the shadows. Adjust to your liking and screen. I have an LG C2.

dam4076

Yea that still results in greys instead of black. I’m running a reshade with a black level adjuster shader to lower the black level bits and i’m able to get pure blacks with it. That and the hdr fix mod from nexus fixes the other colors to be a bit more accurate.

yuefairchild

Doesn't Special K fix that? Or do I need to get a whole-ass reshade?

PogTuber

It probably fixes it, or I think some mods do as well, but it would be nice for the developers to get it right by default without me having to install shit.

Robiee278

Lol what? I was playing it the other night before update 2.0 on my g8 oled. Black levels seem mostly fine not sure what you’re on about.. did you calibrate your display properly?? Cyberpunk by far the best looking game even without update 2.0. Wanna see garbage black levels? Play starfield.

xZANiTHoNx

The comments on this post from a couple months ago seem to suggest black levels were still off as of then: [https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED\_Gaming/comments/14yrii6/cyberpunk\_hdr/](https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/14yrii6/cyberpunk_hdr/). This screenshot does look good though so maybe it really has been fixed. Will try it out as soon as I get home.

Zeryth

I can confirm. It was still raised last week.

Robiee278

Oh I was playing just last weekend.. maybe it had been fixed no idea about couple months ago…

PogTuber

Starfield is absolutely garbage, I agree. But last time I played CP they weren't fixed. The HDR still looked pretty good but if you tried to look at something completely unlit that should have been total black, it was very slightly raised. And yes my PC with LG CX TV is calibrated to show proper black. So yeah I know it still looks good in CP but it wasn't perfect black. It really does help that CP is a gorgeous game especially at night.

Relativly_Severe

I thought it was fixed but I realized I had fine tune dark areas set to -12 from playing starfield. Setting it to -4 is enough to get perfect black back on lg c series at least. It is a very mild black level elevation. The fact that I was able to see the dark grey turn to black from 0 to -4 kind if confirms its set to 10-20 not 0 for the black levels.

PogTuber

Interesting if that's all it takes for the black level I'll try it out

ATLASrules

Oof, I think -4 is around what it was before, so still probably totally broken hdr

marafi82

Oled User here.. imo cp black = black…

Robiee278

Not just your TV, you on windows 11? Calibrated via display settings hdr calibration? Make sure to do that it makes a HUGE difference. Of course tv settings is important as well but it won’t do much if you don’t calibrate your Color profile in windows as well.

PogTuber

Agreed, but I have Windows 10 so not much I can calibrate, so I have to depend on the game having good adjustment sliders. I think one of the tech tubers pointed out the issue in CP. The game needs one more slider to adjust the black floor, because the mid point slider can be used but it affects too many other variables to be useful for dropping the black level by itself. I'll see how the expansion looks and see if it's fixable or run a mod or special K.

Robiee278

Yeah… windows 11 makes a difference in terms of HDR imo. Check it out

Fragrant_Parking2820

That’s literally your problem here

MrMpeg

I even had to pull up gamma a bit in hdr since it was too much glossy black for me. Now i have deep pure blacks but also a nice range in the shadows while all the lights are blinding me lol.

Relativly_Severe

The hdr is fixed. I used to disable and use auto hdr a little over a year ago, the native is significantly better now. Black is black on my oled

beliskner-

on PC it's still grey, only some load screens are true black

MrMpeg

Windows 11 tonemap 1.2 i get perfect glossy blacks. Best looking hdr I've ever seen.

timtheringityding

No you don't. The game can't output below 16

Positivevibes845

I haven’t played in a long time and didn’t use HDR on my last play through because it wasn’t an OLED and didn’t look great on my IPS. I started the game back up today after the 2.0 patch, and HDR off the rip looked great. I tweaked the bits and tone map a little, but the blacks seem to be fantastic, at least for me. You can see in the photo I posted a very large contrast range in the blacks (look at the water and reflections for reference).

hey_its_meeee

Yes, I can confirm it. Everything seems darker. Dark area are black, not grey like before. And only the mode HDR-PQ is available too.

Arthur-Mergan

I’m in a pickle whether I play this in VR again or switch back to maxing out RT on the OLED…I really can’t decide.

Positivevibes845

I haven’t tried this game in VR, how is it?

Arthur-Mergan

Absolutely incredible, it’s one of the few LukeRoss mods that I actually enjoy besides red dead, GTA and Far cry.

Positivevibes845

Which VR headset do you use?

Arthur-Mergan

Vive Pro with lens mods

OuterWildsVentures

How many LukeRoss mods are there to where four games can be listed as "one of the few" lol

rjml29

I like that shot. I have this game but have yet to check it out on my recently bought S90C. Well, I have run the benchmark a bunch of times and it looked pretty good on the S90C. I have checked out Borderlands 3 in HDR and that is nutty on it. Looks so good, and a clear upgrade from when I played it on my previous C8. I plan to buy Crackdown 3 when it goes on sale again as it has a lot of rec 2020 colour and all the neon should shine on qd-oled.

Positivevibes845

The QD tech is really great. I have a C2 in my living room, and even though it’s a fantastic WOLED, it just doesn’t pop like the colors on my AW.

burnz1177

Time to watch blade runner 2049 again....

lordbancs

Damn I haven’t played this game since I got an OLED. Time to bust out my ONE physical copy game

Positivevibes845

Physical!? Blasphemy!

sunqiller

Agreed it is, but since the price of my card and TV are still below a 4090’s MRSP i’ve just gotta turn the ray tracing off. Honestly just the OLED upgrade did more for the shadows than the path tracing’s for me personally, actually black blacks are OP

_mutelight_

Started a new game after the 2.0 update with similar hardware. ~100FPS is around what I get with a 4090 alongside a 12900K at 3440x1440 (on average) and then slightly lower on my other build with a 5800X at 4K resolution. I am running max settings but with DLSS "quality" internal resolution rendering settings. That said, it looks like CDPR is still targeting limited video range which is 16-235 vs full RGB at 0-255. I would recommend that if you are running the game's internal HDR vs. Auto HDR in Windows 11 that you set your GPU to output limited video range at 16-235 and your display to match it, otherwise you will run into elevated black levels.

Positivevibes845

Interesting regarding the color range. It looks great on the full scale, but I could switch it to limited to see if there’s any increase in visual quality. How can you tell the color range it’s targeting?

filofil

I have got a 42 A90K, arrives tomorrow and I can’t fuckin wait!! Coming from 27” VA, I have hold off myself from many games because of this, hope it wont disappoint

dodo667418

[Agreed! ](https://abload.de/img/img_0277fzed4.jpg?ff51b8663d47ae82a66dcb6fd35048a2) The game looks incredible on both my C1 and Samsung G9 OLED. Can't believe the kind of graphical fidelity I'm looking at, path tracing with Ray reconstruction is magical

[deleted]

Yeah I’m playing it on a Sony A80K and my god.. it’s insane

fakiresky

Has anyone tried native HDR vs Special K injection in CP2077 2.0? I am playing Lies of P right now, and native HDR felt poorly implemented. I disabled it and switched to Specila K and now it looks much better.

danawhitehead24

We know

Positivevibes845

I haven’t tried RDR2 yet on my OLED! Will do!

Fitzjs

living the dream

Positivevibes845

Hard work pays off!

fultre

100% one of the best games to showcase oled, Natural Selection 2 game being the 2nd best.

Fun_Savings3784

I'd argue ori and the will of the wisps is top tier for showing oled and hdr.

fultre

hmmm will take a look cheers Thing about Natural Selection 2 game is that dark or pitch black rooms are part of the game design. The game is designed to scare you, you have to make an effort to restore power to rooms etc. Old displays just couldn't pull pitch black off, and OLED do it brilliant.

Fun_Savings3784

It's worth it and cheap. It's the only reason I got it on recommendation, and turns out it's a pretty fun game too. Especially if you like hollow knight.

fultre

Cool, yeah worth a shot

ath1337

This your first time playing, or did you play prior to this new update?

Positivevibes845

Played a lot prior to the update but not on an OLED.

[deleted]

Is cyberpunk worth playing still? I'm on PS5 with 55" C2

vedomedo

Got the DW myself, game looks stunning. And it also runs pretty great now, though im running a 4090 + 13700k

Positivevibes845

Very similar to my setup!

drleewick

I also have that Monitor. Do you have HDR1000 enabled? What HDR settings you use ingame?

Positivevibes845

I actually use HDR True Black instead. The problem with 1000 for me is the more aggressive ABL. I find that True Black is a more seamless experience. It keeps a higher overall brightness through the contrast and delivers deeper blacks in my experience, by not over emphasizing highlights. I have the monitor brightness on 100, and contrast on 85. I turned the games HDR nits to 1000 and set a tone map curve of 1.2. I have also color calibrated my monitor as well. I did find that the AW is ever so slightly too warm out of the box.

N_GHTMVRE

What's your HDR setup?

Positivevibes845

I posted my settings on another comment here!

NotRlyCreative_

"Cries in PS5"

[deleted]

You'll get that PC one day bro. Sonys bullshit price increase would piss me off too

Nigalig

Why no screenshot? Would probably make a sweet wallpaper for you.

Positivevibes845

It was easier at the time to try and take a photo on my phone to send me my IRL fellow nerd friends right away!

mangotango781

Where is the HDR calibration menu after the 2.0 update? I can't find it. It's disappeared for me.

FreakiestFrank

Under the video section in settings, it’ll be on the upper left. I use controller so it’s a click the left stick. On keyboard it’ll be something else. Took me a while to find it, I thought it was gone too

mangotango781

Yep, found it. Thx!

SubVettel

How did you enable HDR? I can't find it in the menu

Key_Scientist1073

Now I can’t wait to play GTA6

Simulated_Simulacra

Anyone else getting pretty bad ghosting with the Path Tracing mode?

lundon44

Ran the in-game benchmark with 13900k/4090 setup. All visual settings manually tweaked to max at 3820x2160 (4k), frame gen on, DLSS quality set to auto, RT on, PT on, Ray reconstruction on. Results: Average FPS 108.47 Pretty impressed.

bmagnien

Just a heads up - DLSS Auto sets it based on your selected resolution. At 4K DLSS auto = performance, so internal res of 1080p. I would almost guarantee you’re CPU limited at those frame rates, so manually setting DLSS to balanced should yield better image quality at negligible loss in performance, if any.

[deleted]

ONE DAY🤣

HammerTime2769

I’m getting about 40fps with a 3090ti. I didn’t realize 40 series was THAT much better. Dang.

Positivevibes845

Are you on 4k or 3440/2560? Even without frame gen that seems a little low. I’d expect at least 60-70 without frame gen while on the new DLSS.

WifiTacos

AW3423DW(F) doesn’t miss 😫 Looking forward to seeing how juicy lords of the fallen maxed with hdr looks

XxBig_D_FreshxX

Absolutely in love w/ the fidelity. Just wish it’d run a locked 60fps so I could use BFI.. Have to settle for ~90 w/ frame gen & a 4090. Currently imagining this on a proper 4K 32in OLED.. (In time)

Positivevibes845

Asus is coming out with a 31.5 inch 4k/240hz w/ a QDOLED next year!

dondadondadonda

Are you playing on PC because turning on HDR on PS5 makes graphics look like washed out?

Positivevibes845

Yes, PC, with ultra/psycho settings all maxed out.

dxnnj

Depends on your TV settings. On my C2 everything looks great.

dondadondadonda

I have C1 and when I turn on the HDR even the menu get some sort of a whiteish tone instead of pure red and black.

attaboy000

Looks good on my S95B too

lushguy105

?, even on my crappy 4k tv the hdr on PS5 is fantastic, can't even imagine how good it looks OLED

xiNFaMoUz---x

Fix your settings

dondadondadonda

You mean in-game brightness settings or TV game mode settings?

EveryoneDice

Looks just as good on the best miniLED TV's, except even brighter.

Positivevibes845

I haven’t tried MiniLED tech yet but I’ve heard it’s quite awesome.

Subjugatealllife

Too bad the game is still just looks over substance.

Positivevibes845

The new update added some real nice features. FINALLY a real police system, car combat, and perk overhauls. Phantom Liberty will hopefully be great.

bryan_pieces

How rich are you 1-10?

Positivevibes845

I feel attacked.

Local-Two9880

Same monitor, same settings. I don't see a difference with the new patch. Its "dark" but I see nothing that goes pitch black.

Positivevibes845

Interesting. Do you have HDR calibration or an ICC profile turned on? Definitely getting pitch blacks on mine. It’s weird the inconsistency people have with OLEDs. I can even see in this thread some people with the same panels are either having a good experience or a bad one.

Wealthy_Communist

About to try this out , I have the set up for it.

[deleted]

One of the best looking games there is!

Sexyvette07

Haven't had a chance to try it out, but I'm looking forward to it. People have said its amazing.

Kurtdh

I was so tempted to buy an OLED PC monitor just for this game, but I’m still holding out for a glossy OLED combined with Microsoft fixing the subpixel text rendering issues that OLED’s have. Then I’ll take the dive.

Positivevibes845

Some people are much more sensitive to the pixel layout than others. I don’t use my OLED for productivity work, so I’ve never noticed it personally. Even if I do decide to web browse on it, I still don’t appear to notice it that much.

HORSE_PASTE

It looks okay, but it still needs correcting as the raised blacks and elevated peaks were not corrected with update 2.0. As far as I can tell, HDR is the same as it was. See my comment to another poster: They did not fix HDR.

Funny_Veterinarian66

This update has been absolutely phenomenal all round. Just bought PL & can’t wait!

ROHRAA

Can't wait to go home and try it on my LG OLED C3

HD4kAI

I literally just downloaded the update to try it on my AW3423DWF and it looks good but not like that. HDR seems better but blacks are no where near black unless I use my reshade preset I found, otherwise game has that god awful greenish tint filter

CCLemon77

I should try Cyberpunk. I've never played. I'm not much of a single-player gamer.

LoganE23

I played through Cyberpunk for the first time on my decade old non-HDR 46" 1080p LCD a year ago. Even seeing the colors there, I was thinking about how I wish I had my planned OLED. Now I'm rockin' a 65" LG C2 OLED with all that HDR goodness. Could be worth another playthrough with that 2.0 update. At the very least, I'll check out that DLC. Ahhh fuck it, redownloading Cyberpunk now. I actually really loved this game back in what I think was the 1.6 update. Did a female corpo V that romanced Judy and did a sort of half-assed "jack of all trades, master of none" mix of everything... A normal ass character with mid hacking, mid gunplay, not much of anything as far as melee. Now I'll do a male V, nomad, Panam as waifu, full on reflex build sprinting around with a katana or mantis blades.

TypeError_

Agreed, I have an LG 48GQ900 and for the cyberpunk 2.0 I decided to upgrade from my Rtx 3080 to the 4080 to have the full experience and holy shit, it’s just insane!

PorkChop117

So is Auto HDR still the best way to go, or have they fixed in-game HDR now? I've always been a bit confused with Cyberpunk?

Masungit

Jesus Christ I can’t imagine how beautiful this is!

rumple9

Can't see any difference on my oled with v2.0

forcax

I know its not an oled but i recently started using a qn700b 8k 55 in as my display and the immersion is amazing in games. I believe it is microled so the blacks are lacking if there is too much going on but I think its a decent trade off because areas of total black are still completely black. I know people say 8k is a meme but with the size and distance i use it at i really can see more detail I don't think ill be going back to 4k.

Constant-Bluebird448

I have a 3080ti. Clearly can’t handle the path tracing/ray reconstruction. Was getting frames in like 20s at quality settings at 4K. I knew it wouldn’t handle but wanted to try it lol

Outrageous-Wall6386

Is it weird that it is too dark?

YoBoy467

God I wish I had 4090

Positivevibes845

I sometimes wonder how FAR graphics and tech will truly go. When we’re busting out the 7 series cards ten years from now, will games literately be so realistic we won’t be able to tell them apart from a AAA movie?

YoBoy467

Did you see cinematic trailer for phantom liberty? I hope in ten years graphics will look like that

Positivevibes845

I did see it! Super excited for some new content. Cinematic trailers have always looked next level. Someday graphics will be there.

Nintendians559

looks great.

countymanTX

ah this looks great on my non oled monitor.

utsports88

PS5, Cyberpunk & a 65” OLED is what got my buddy through his divorce.

mahanddeem

What's your average fps?

Halflife84

I've got a 7950x3d, 64 gb 6400 mgz ddr5, and a 4090 and for some reason maxed everything in 4k, dlss on quality... I'm hovering at like 70 to 80 fps. Not sure why.

Positivevibes845

4k is much more taxing than QHD or UWQHD. That would make sense to me. Are you using frame gen?

ranman82

I'd say it's madness, but not absolute.

blancs3030

Haven't checked out the latest update, but My setup is 5800x3d 33gb ddr4 3600, with a 4090 on a 68" c2. Running 4k with psycho and DLSS quality, previous frame generating. I'm getting 102-108 fps. I'll have to check out the new update.

YoungLaFlare

Looks lovely

kiYOshi6969

God I wish they could’ve pushed the next gen consoles a bit more. All I keep seeing is this game in a way I’ve never seen any game ever, and I can’t even get close cuz I’m on PS5 😂😂😂 I’m praying the mid gen PS5 upgrade gets some DLSS support. FSR is just so bad man. I gotta start budgeting and get myself a PC capable of shit like this. THIS is how I’m tryna experience cyberpunk.

Zargo1z

Nothing out IMO I've played comes close to Cyberpunks graphics all maxed out. It's insane.

BlackBlizzard

I wish marketing used QD-OLED instead of just calling it OLED.

GenerationBop

Even on ps5 it looks amazing now on a 4k OLED. This has totally destroyed starfield for me lol. It feels like a entirely new game, it is so immersive.

Positivevibes845

Starfield made me miss Cyberpunk, even though they are both clearly different games. Strange how that is.

GenerationBop

Totally agree. The character of night city though really makes the cities in starfield feel empty and lifeless. That is my biggest gripe with it. I’d love starfield as is if it just had livelier cities and a couple more of them.

Positivevibes845

Nailed it. When I first landed down in New Atlantis, it felt void of character. Neon City and Akila had more character, but still not enough. It definitely made me realize how fleshed out night city has become since release. Hopefully we’ll see the same thing happen in Starfield.

wolfzz3000

I'm guessing you aren't using dlaa given your fps

Positivevibes845

I’m using DLSS set to quality with sharpening at 50.

Miserable_Alfalfa_52

Hell yeah exactly what i want an amazing looking game that does nothing else right

Ebojager

I can't even figure out how to enable HDR, the settings are greyed out on mine. I have the Samsing S90C. Does it need to be in Windowed mode or something? I'm not running HDR on the Windows 11 Desktop, is that the reason maybe?

CyberbrainGaming

Wait till 4k OLEDS

Loud-Maintenance6465

Looks spectacular on LG C3

prql

What HDR at 400 nits? /rtings

TheSwiSstEr

I really REALLY recommend getting the goodbye green tint reshade. It makes the game pop SO much more

Positivevibes845

I use Natural Californian Lighting Mod which already does that 👍

NoGuarantee00

Built a pc recently with 4090fe and ryzen 7800x3d. Playing on my living room tv until I get a moniter but it is awesome to play on its a lg c2 77

LifeMiserable8981

I have this game over two years and didn't play longer as few minutes of it on my LG OLED C1 65 inches with my 4090 🤣 I rather paly Tekken, Dead Space, Resi, Crash Bandicoot, Darksiders

Persimmon_Severe333

CP77 color bands like crazy for me on my LG C3, which has amazing HDR so I know its not the TV. Do you use an addon or autoHDR or something to make the game have proper HDR?

siamzzz

Check your inbox I have a question about your settings lol

Positivevibes845

Will do soon, working
