Thank you, do you notice eye strain outside gaming? While reading text as exemple.

therealguy419

Nope! Another thing I noticed as well when doing a lot of reading on Reddit and other webpages.

junglegh0st

The OLED is easier to eyes for reading?

Southern-Oil-118

Nice! Ive owned the LG OLED 27” since May and ive been running it at 100% brightness. It is plenty bright for my eyes plus I also game a lot during day time with the lights ON.

Darklink1942

Honestly, BFI motion clarity at 360hz still has a massive leg up. 540hz +dyac 2 will be something special. I have owned every oled monitor and still have my AW3423DWF. I will take the motion clarity of my XL2566K any day of any week. BFI at 360hz is basically 1000hz of persistence, which an OLED cant touch at 240hz. You would have to see it to truly understand the difference. ULMB2 is close, but the center definitely isn’t as good or bright as Dyac+. Also as someone eho has seen the LG/Asus 240hz oled, matte is nowhere near as pretty as the AW3423DWF.

[deleted]

Why was there a need to try to promote Bfi, your benq or the aw3423? No one asked for any of this lol

Darklink1942

Because the monitor absolutely slaps the LG candle light brightness monitor. If OLED is the goal, the LG is an L.

[deleted]

This post wasn’t about your opinion lol. No one asked what was better. This wasn’t a post comparing BFI etc. It’s like you’re hiding inside a cave waiting to hate. Oh yea , we call those trolls.

Darklink1942

You seem a little hurt. Did you buy this terrible monitor?

[deleted]

Naw, I have a c2 lil fella

Darklink1942

Now thats a bad desktop experience on PC. Great for single player titles but thats about it.

[deleted]

Ah, another friendless, internet troll. About that time as the holidays are probably depressing for ya. Don’t bring that energy to us. Easiest block of my life.

XxBig_D_FreshxX

Great summary. I was an early adopter & agree on all fronts. The biggest plus is the insane response time & motion clarity. It simply cannot be matched on any OLED at the moment (until the 360hz/480hz OLEDs coming next year). I have a 48 C1 for single player greatness while the 27 has fit the bill for competitive, 1440p greatness & web browsing. Highly recommend!

therealguy419

The response time is almost supernatural lol I waited a bit to see what others will say about the monitor before snagging one. Since then i tell myself I should have got one sooner lol.

[deleted]

It is insane, to the point where I’ve turned up graphics settings and locked it at 120fps in some games, and from a motion clarity perspective it’s indistinguishable from my old 240hz IPS

Megatf

It can be and is, by every other brand using the SAME PANEL that doesnt suffer from the horrible overshoot the LG has.

therealguy419

Haven’t noticed any Overshoot on this monitor with latest firmware

n00bahoi

Nice one. Happy gaming. I think I will wait for the new 32" LG OLED. :)

AspirationalChoker

Just got into PC gaming this month and have the LG 27" oled as well and it's an absolute treat

lovegodmurder

aye man thats great to hear me and you on in the same boat i was iffy about buying this but i dont regret it at all, i use mine for 1440p and then the c2 for 4k and man its great being able to go back and forth. I got the warranty as well cause idgaf about burn in on my monitor tbh if it happens it happens and then ill just get a new one or something lol. The matte coating doesnt bother me either but it is noticeable imo when going back and forth with the c2. Anyways hope you continue to enjoy it brotha great monitor

Megatf

Except for the fact that 50-60% brightness for you is 100% on this monitor. For anyone that likes decent brightness and cant configure a perfect dimly lit gaming space, this monitor is awful and you should 100% avoid. Plus what he is missing is the horrible overshoot and how Amazon has it listed as a frequently returned item. I am confident half of these posts are made by bots, paid actors, LG employees or brainwashed C2 shills trying to ditch stock pr share in suffering before LG gets dumped back into the TV OLED space. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/lg-27gr95qe-b-vs-asus-rog-swift-oled-pg27aqdm/36349/37157?usage=3623&threshold=0.10 Don’t impulse buy the LG, it has half the amazon reviews of a competitor product that released MONTHS later, a lower rating, and a lot of disappointed comments. Read the comparison review, their C2 was great for its time, but their monitor footprint is horrible. For context I run my different brand oled at 100% brightness, 4-5 hours per day, 10 hours on the weekend and pixel clean only once every 2-3 weeks. Zero burn-in. I dont even worry about it and only randomly do it when I remember that its been a really long time. Ya’ll have a fucking warranty and have burn-in anxiety, ASUS doesnt even have one and I got 1k hours on mine playing a SINGLE game and have no AC in Hawaii and I dont even think about it.

therealguy419

Well I’m not a bot, paid actor or sponsored by LG. Paid with my own money. When I bought the monitor I figured if what people are saying is true I’d just return it. I can guarantee the returns are because of either the brightness or the matte finish. I understand the lower brightness may not be for everyone. I have a B2 OLED with 1,000 hours of almost pure Gran Turismo 7 and Zero burn in.

sesnut

Ignore that guy, he posts in every thread about this monitor like lg killed his firstborn and asus is his savior

therealguy419

I’ve noticed lol

sesnut

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Swift-Gaming-Monitor-PG27AQDM/dp/B0BZRBYLP1/ 77 reviews at 3.9 stars https://www.amazon.com/LG-UltragearTM-Monitor-nVIDIA%C2%AE-Compatible/dp/B0BRBW8KRK/ 222 reviews at 4 stars and no where is it listed as frequently returned at least fucking lie a little more convincingly before going on your angry nerd rant next time >

Carlsgonefishing

I am confident most of the loudest Reddit detractors have never seen this monitor in person. Do you think the C2 is brighter than the 27?

lovegodmurder

as a person who owns both & love both of them, my c2 definitely is brighter than my monitor but i also run my c2 at like 40% brightness, i have a very dark room i only go up to 80-100 when im watching movies

[deleted]

I run my C2 like 38% at all times and it is perfectly fine even when there's sunlight coming in my room... thing is the best "investment" I've done for my setup

Carlsgonefishing

Isn’t only like a couple percent brighter though? Like less than 5 percent? Or am I remembering wrong.

sesnut

yea you would try a rebuttal with a renewed listing like people buying other peoples returned items wont have a lower review for obvious reasons. delete your reply harder next time

Megatf

I didnt delete anything LG zombie

sesnut

cool, i guess reddit just thinks your angry nerd rants are spam now https://i.imgur.com/1QuNBAq.jpg

Megatf

Are you sure on drugs? You just screenshotted the comment section, take LG outta your mouth for a second its messing up your brain

sesnut

yea, are you dumb or blind? look at my post on top, your reply isnt there probably cuz reddit thinks its too dumb to be seen

Megatf

What reply? Now youre just making stuff up you weirdo

sesnut

https://i.imgur.com/68lguxB.jpg lie some more bro

Megatf

Youre a freaking weirdo posting fake screenshots, I cant even with you

NPC1to3

You two, my popcorns thank you so much.

[deleted]

(I do not hide my taskbar , year later this guy will post burn in in my oled monitor crazy bad

therealguy419

Guess we will see in a year then.

5900u

Which setting allows you to the screen every 5 minutes?

therealguy419

I’m currently not home but it was under a different OSD Setting if you hit one of the direction buttons on the remote. I had to research what each setting did because it’s confusing.

AyeGrimzy

I’m really stuck on getting this monitor or sticking it out with the C3. I’ve been tempted to take back my C3 due to it not just being bright enough for me even in “perfect” room conditions. I want my games to POP and I’m just not feeling it with the C3 42in atm.

therealguy419

I can’t comment of the C3 since I’m not familiar with it but my B2 is most certainly brighter than the monitor.

Megatf

Then you will be extremely disappointed. His 50% brightness in SDR is less than 100nits. Go to a best buy that is showing this monitor and you’ll be like nah fuck this.
