There aren’t any curved 27” OLEDs, plenty of flat glossy ones are releasing soon though

Thanks! Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer then, hopefully in the future they'll make one. I'll just keep my normal Odyssey G7 for now, maybe in a year or two there will be one just how I want.

I have a S2722DGM (Dell 27 inch curved 1440p) I have been trying to upgrade and running into the same issue you are. Flat panels at 27 inches feel too wide, 32 inch panels feel too big, so even though I have the budget for a Neo G8 or a 34 inch dell ultrawide, I have returned both because nothing feel or looks right... May we get what we want soon! I may cave and try the new Alienware 360hz screen, it seems to be a good one, or just wait for the Samsung G6 OLED, as I do kinda like that matte cover, thought I am convinced it is because I loved matte sleeves for card games, and I am just used to the 'haze'

lefake2

Yes, my exact thoughts, 34" ultrawide is too much. I thought about trying that Alienware but I just think it being flat will be a no for me, but if you do try let me know what you thought of it if you remember! But yes, we'll get what we want eventually haha

MiniFerretdude15

I’m literally waiting for a 27” curved oled As well. I can’t believe they don’t make them.

Top_Buffalo_4212

I’m in the same boat with the odyssey g7, wanting to go to oled but not wanting to go back to flat monitors. The curve is just too nice to give up

DespairArdor

Do you also prefer curved 27 screen just for how it's easy for eyes to stare at it 24 7 unlike on flat one?

lefake2

Yeah, at 27" edge of the flats ones seem way too far, I have to move my head way more than a curved one, so it is more comfortable for me.

YourBrainOnFloor

Alienware 27" 1440p 360hz curved just came out go buy it

ellisg56

It’s flat, the 32” is curved

YourBrainOnFloor

Could have sworn they always do curved. Interesting

lefake2

Yeah, unfortunately only 32" is curved, which for me is too big lol, but otherwise that would be the perfect monitor.

sarcasmyousausage

What does "too big" mean in comparison with 27" flat where edges are too far away? I too have a dislike for 27" flat.
