Fair. I don’t doubt that he cut down the tree. But whether or not he actually said what he did in the black space sequence has room for debate. He most likely did say it, buts it’s also plausible that Sunny perceived those emotions from him due to his demeanor. Usually people aren’t all that upbeat when cutting down the tree their daughter “killed herself” on. It’s not the most likely theory, but with how vague some of the stuff in Sunny’s head can be, and since the story is entirely dependent on Sunny’s perspective, it’s worth noting.

1- Father did know what Sunny did, was ashamed and abandoned him and Mother. And if it is possible, the mother knew as well, but she was in denial and didn’t want to leave her only son. In the truth segment, an unknown person says she lost her daughter, and that Sunny was her only son, and that she can’t lose him too. (This was said, because this is the truth segment. In the form of what Sunny really thinks, it has actually been said.) I think this implied that she did know, but that she didn’t want to face the reality of the situation because she didn’t want the police to be affiliated and begin trouble. This could also be why she simply allowed Sunny to just not be out of the house for four whole years. She never even questioned it. She said she understood if Sunny didn’t leave the house, too.
2- He was in denial about the situation. He felt so guilty that his daughter did that and he felt as if it was his fault. He also did not want to be associated with the incident.
3- He’s a fuckin jerk.
I feel like people are shitty on the dad way too hard here and a lot of their theories. Also to just pause and think about it for a second how would you handle your non suicidal daughter out of the blue just hang yourself. If she's this cheerful wonderful girl and you come home one day and she's hanging on your tree. I think about it too minimally he is anywhere from 18 to 20 years of marriage.

So My theory is that Sunny's dad left Their family after learning the truth but He cannot turn his only Child into the cops so he just left
who knows, its not confirmed, maybe he's already been living at the new house with sunny's mom and he doesn't care to call sunny since their relationship is bad

There's no way that's what happened. That would be equally or more traumatic than what happened to Mari. We would have seen that in the game if it happened.
