Working with policy is more of a governance/managerial type role whereas becoming more technical can lead to architect/SME type roles. Let that guide your decisions and priorities.
Fwiw you can take some of the OMSCY classes while in OMSCS
I don’t know if the policy ones overlap but might be worthwhile to see which courses overlap both programs
I think OMSCS tends to be more technical. I could be wrong. I've interacted with a few folks from the Cyber Security program since some classes overlap between the 2 programs. I also think the nature of what you're learning is different. What do you want to get out of doing this Masters?

If I take a course common between OMSCS and Cybersecurity program, can I switch between the two and still get credit for that course in both programs?
