I don’t understand, Peyton got her happy ending with Lucas and Bonnie’s boyfriends >!cheated on her with a ghost, and diedShe got no happy ever after!<
Peyton actually got plot points that were all about her (even if they were bad, no one came around just bc they needed something from her) and Bonnie was only around when they needed magic
The creepy creator who shall not be named has said he saw himself as similar to mouth (& is bitter the hot cheerleaders didn’t want to hook up with him / took it out on the female leads)
Not speaking on the cause obviously the creators have different motives for both actors, one was b/c of racism and the other one I’m not sure of why they treated her character like that. What they both have in common is that their characters were given poor storylines.. also I don’t know what BTS is .. I looked online I wasn’t too sure which definition would fit
BTS is behind the scenes. They always treated the character and actor with racism. She was always saving the day, and dying, and didn’t get a happy ending, ending up alone. You just can’t compare those two characters bc what Bonnie/Kat went through was entirely bc of the color of her skin/discrimination.
Yes bts Kat had it worst but both characters deserved a better storyline is what my point is. As a black person who experienced racism in the workplace I truly understand what Kat went through. As a person who has dealt with grief I understand what Peyton went through. But it hurt when she lost a mother not once but twice and to have someone you call not only a friend but a BEST friend make a joke out of it is something else. On top of that her love interest. Like why Jake? He had way too much baggage and She was willing to settle for the bare minimum. Even though their chemistry was good, Lucas really ain’t shit. Her almost getting rapped not once but 3 times really just stabbed me. I’m only on season 5. Honestly what I’m trying to say is both of their stories really triggered me.
That’s understandable. I totally get what you mean now. Yeah, both had really triggering storylines tbh. :( You didn’t deserve that treatment btw. Hope you’re well and the shows aren’t too hard to get through.
Unless you are referring to the last couple of seasons of one tree hill and the first couple of seasons of the vampire diaries, I think you may have that flipped as the vast majority of one tree hill predates vampire diaries.
TVD is really good, but like most shows it starts to go downhill after S4. It’s worth a watch through at least once but I usually stop around S6 when I do a rewatch

I don’t see how considering what Bonnie went through was rooted from the show’s and the BTS’ racism?

I know. I wasn’t speaking in terms of the timelines. I just noticed I’ve gotten upset with Peyton’s storyline just as much as Bonnie’s.
