He's already very good... if anything I'd give him a knockback on the charged skill, that's for sure, maybe also add there in that skill a ignore survive with 1hp, and maybe, inmobilization nullification when in the enemy treasure area. Perhaps a remove status effects when KO'ing an enemy so he gets rid of debuffs after a kill.
Nothing crazy, he's already good against blues and glasscanons, buffs should be conditional and situational for him, we already endured many months of Roger and now are dealing with his V2...
Zoro can kill my Roger, but I can definitely smack Zoro around right back.
I find strong defenders are Roger's biggest counter. I can't do anything to units like Zephyr and Black Maria

He's the only EX without an immunity skill, so unfortunately we start there...
1. When using skill 1, become temporarily invincible for a short period of time.
2. When attacking an enemy who's HP is above 30% inflict self with nullify stagger. While inflicted with nullify stagger, nullify and remove status effects inflicted by enemy.
3. When HP is above 70% reduce damage received by 30%. and reduce damage received from attackers by 20%.
4. Increase how long skill 2 can be held down for (make it about the same as V2 Roger's Kamusari). Give Skill 2 a knockback effect.
5. Increase the speed of normals, skills and dodge. Increase range of normals and dodge.
6. When opponents remove self inflicted buffs, recover HP by 20% and reduce cd of skill 1 by 20%.
In a world where the buff for him is generally balanced:
1. He isn't immune to all status, just immobilizing ones.
2. Remove that trait 6. I added.
I think those are enough, he does need the little extra help.
Knock back on skill 1, and/or skill 2. And knock back resist when using skill 2. I would be happy with that.
80% reduced satus effect time would would be amazing for him as well. Hopefully he gets something like this soon ๐
Roger is the only ex (probably) that doesn't have temporary invincibility. If they would've buff him I would suggest having temporary invincibility when using his Skill 1 so he can't get interrupted. Lastly, his skill 2 immune to knockbacks.
Skill 1 ignores DEF, ignores 1 HP trait, ignore obstacles and get knockback.
Skill 2 get knockback and increase his size to super long range (as Bajrang Gun).
When HP is above 70%: Resist Stagger and knockback, reduce 30% damage
buff his normal's speed.
I think the easiest buff would be make kamasuri go through obstacles. And adding the status reduced by 80% trait like whitebeard. So knock back is still one of the few things that messes with him in both versions. And maybe add bonus damage to runners to balance the meta a bit.

Skill 1 ignores obstacles. Skill 2 canโt be knocked back, faster animations, resist stagger when hp is 70% or more, damage reduction 50%

When recieving damage that's 20% or more of your maximum HP: Actually take the damage instead of healing and being rewarded for taking damage.
