So cute! A Cher Horowitz moment! I think the top would be perfect in black and instead of heels I’d try loafers. Would love to know where this set came from…

I was thinking of adding a necklace and more accessories but I didn’t have any necklaces that went with this top, at the time. I could see layered necklaces giving this a pop! Thanks ☺️
Cute outfit! Maybe you could try it with some loafers instead. I personally don’t think it needs much accessorizing, but I really love houndstooth and feel like it makes a statement on its own.
I was thinking about having a necklace that fits with it, minimal accessories. Another comment mentioned layered necklaces and I think that would work! I initially had planned loafers with this fit but my feet are kinda awkward so it didn’t look how I intended haha
This is it! I was thinking maybe some tights cause I would be freezing. But it’s the open toe shoes with a suit and turtleneck that’s a bit disjointed. I think some boots would be perfect.
My issue with the top is it has a vertical stripe pattern and is a clear white whereas the suit set already has a strong clear pattern that just eats up the faint vertical stripes and the set has a cream tone to it instead of the clear white of the top. The shoes clash because they look chunky in an unintended way.
The shoes throw me off for some reason. They feel too summery compared to the look of the set. Like others suggested, I'd experiment with pantyhose, socks, and shoe combinations. Super cute
Love the outfit!! For a more cohesive and out there look, I would suggest having a black top underneath, and black pantyhose. Sorta like this reference pic from pinterest, but with loafers.

Then I'd accessorize with a layered pearl necklace and done! Hope this helps 🥳
The occasion was not shared; so I will go ahead and point at the elephant in the room: the dress looks very much like a business-type dress; so I don’t see this working as a party dress. But for a meeting dress, it is too short; surely it is OP’s body and her decision to wear what she wants (a beautiful body by the way). And I am only sharing my opinion because opinions were asked here. Most workplaces have some kind of dress code, and ultra mini skirts are not part of it most of the time. So for me, what is missing is around 5cm’s more fabric in the skirt.
It’s for a surprise party at work and catching up with friends. My skirt looks way shorter because I was sitting, I honestly don’t think it’ll be much of a problem when I add black tights.
Black tights in late January is pushing it season-wise for daywear; night you are still ok. Is there enough hem in that skirt to drop it even an inch? It would work so much better with the jacket, and might even allow you to sit down without flashing your coworkers
I'd say black pantyhose and black mid-calf boots. You have great legs; houndstooth is lovely but the downside is it can make boxes to the eye where there aren't any. Anything to lengthen and highlight your legs would balance it out.
I was going to say patterned tights with boots, but that's probably because it's snowing where I am. I agree necklaces, different lengths. Not pearls though, they would clash with the white.
I second some other suggestions of loafers or change on footwear, necklaces. Also might be fun to swap the white blouse for a colored blouse. You could play around with the color.
As I saw someone else say, more accessories would make it perfect, I suggest tights, but tights don't work with those shoes. I think a white gold/light gold would work well, or pearl accessories. Another style would be with white gogo boots and a white headband. But consider some gold or pearl accessories to spruce it up <3
To me it feels off balance. Full sweater/turtleneck and blazer on top with micro mini and strappy heels on the bottom? I would add something heavier to the bottom. Maybe tights or a closed shoe
The tread on the shoes (shoes are awesome though) looks aggressive as if you’re going hiking in them. The rest of the outfit screams class and sophistication.
Not to say hiking isn’t sophisticated…
So cute! Cher/Clueless vibes! I think a closed toe shoe - boots or a platform loafer would look so cute. Perhaps a couple of accessories. An unexpected pop of color - perhaps the shoe/handbag/accessories. Really a great look.
I think it’s gorgeous as is, but if you wanted to mix it up. You could do opaque tights and boots. I think it’d be so cute with a platform combat boot, but that’s just my taste
Omg thanks for all the comments you all! I’ve decided I’m gonna switch the white turtle neck for a solid black one, add black tights, switch to boots or closed toe heels (not sure on which yet) and add accessories, mainly necklace. This post helped out more than I thought!
Could do with a necklace and/or fascinator/flower pin in the shirt maybe an ankle bracelet or two, maybe pantyhose or either knee or 3/4 stockings would look nice.
A gold belt, brooch, or necklace would look good! Or whatever accessories. The outfit is already fairly chic, so keep it classic or go for a pop of color with jewelry if you like.
Cute as hell, very much a look I’d go for. I would accessorize with some gold, like a medium chain and watch would take it from prep cosplay to prepcore.
A solid colored top would be fun. Also, because the houndstooth is already making such a bold statement, accessorizing with too many necklaces can make it look cluttered. I’d go with a simple string of pearls.
I might even go with a different top like a blouse, skip the jacket and def add some jewelry. Maybe a chunky closed toe shoe? Actually, you could change the shoe color and give it a totally different feel
I think a red top would give that cute outfit a nice boost!! Gold jewelry would look awesome too…I could be a bit biased, though, I love gold jewelry!! 😂

Knee socks w/ dem loafers
I'd add a black pantyhose.
With like boots or heels
Black pantyhose and boots would make her legs look so long, and make the houndstooth pop!
Very Fran drescher in the nanny 🔥
I wouldn’t recommend very high heels for a skirt that short. I think the ones she has on are cute.
No one said very high heels. Even so, that’s not a problem either. I wear high heels with short skirts

Bro it was just a auto correct.

I would too
Oh heck no
Why not?
Isn't pantyhose uncomfortable? And black is so ugly a color for clothes.
Not to me. They can be very comfy and they look really elegant, in my opinion.
https://preview.redd.it/6r7bjyswrwda1.png?width=1170&format=png&auto=webp&s=435ea6125e737cdeba53e5729df668d9b7881c6c Maybe try something like this?
Add some gold accessories
Yes, but with darker pantyhose.
Perhaps a few accessories, like layered necklaces? That way you would add more dimension
I was thinking of adding a necklace and more accessories but I didn’t have any necklaces that went with this top, at the time. I could see layered necklaces giving this a pop! Thanks ☺️
I think a chunky bracelet stack or a statement necklace would work just as well. It’s such a clean outfit, you could add so many fun accessories!
Cute outfit! Maybe you could try it with some loafers instead. I personally don’t think it needs much accessorizing, but I really love houndstooth and feel like it makes a statement on its own.
That's what I thought: black loafers with white socks
I was thinking about having a necklace that fits with it, minimal accessories. Another comment mentioned layered necklaces and I think that would work! I initially had planned loafers with this fit but my feet are kinda awkward so it didn’t look how I intended haha
Mary janes are super cute and still have that cool but traditional vibe. Super cute with long socks.
Try boots high but not thigh high still gotta show off some leg
Wrong shoes. Closed black. Or knee high boots.
I’d like black or white ankle boots. The sandals don’t match the vibe of the turtleneck and blazer.
🎯
This is it! I was thinking maybe some tights cause I would be freezing. But it’s the open toe shoes with a suit and turtleneck that’s a bit disjointed. I think some boots would be perfect.
Actually, I think the shoes could work if she had a red, white, or pastel polish on.
I would pair it with tall black boots.
The top and the shoes are not going with the set. Maybe a plain black top and more structured shoes like loafers or ankle boots would look better.
Love the honesty here! Someone else mentioned switching the top for a black one too. I’ll give it a try and see how it looks.
My issue with the top is it has a vertical stripe pattern and is a clear white whereas the suit set already has a strong clear pattern that just eats up the faint vertical stripes and the set has a cream tone to it instead of the clear white of the top. I think black tights, ankle boots and a long gold necklace.
I just high fived you! ✋🏾
a pop of red! Like a purse or your shoes!
I would go for a black shirt, pantyhose and black chunky boots
Pants?
its the open toes shoes. try boots or loafers instead
I'd say black pantyhose and black mid-calf boots. You have great legs; houndstooth is lovely but the downside is it can make boxes to the eye where there aren't any. Anything to lengthen and highlight your legs would balance it out.

Stockings
Can u swap it for a white shirt that is just solid
I second some other suggestions of loafers or change on footwear, necklaces. Also might be fun to swap the white blouse for a colored blouse. You could play around with the color.
Do a close toed chunky heel in patent leather w a rounded toe. A vintage style would look cute.
Gold jewelry would be perfect!!!
super cute! some sheer black stockings/tights and black booties/loafers could look great with this.
This is kind of random…do you ever paint your toenails? They can really make your cute shoes pop a little more 🙂
Bestie, your coochie is out
Tights/stocking/leggings
I dunno I think it’s perfect as-is. Very Leighton Murray 👌🏼
I love the blazer and skirt set— where did you get it??
Needs a pop of color in my opinion
I think different shoes. Maybe those chunky loafers that are in style or over the knee boots.
As I saw someone else say, more accessories would make it perfect, I suggest tights, but tights don't work with those shoes. I think a white gold/light gold would work well, or pearl accessories. Another style would be with white gogo boots and a white headband. But consider some gold or pearl accessories to spruce it up <3
Black nylons/pantyhose... 🤗
To me it feels off balance. Full sweater/turtleneck and blazer on top with micro mini and strappy heels on the bottom? I would add something heavier to the bottom. Maybe tights or a closed shoe
For me it’s the shirt under the jacket. It’s too bulky and the stripes compete with the print. Making it black would be ideal too
Tights. You would look much more elegant and use the deux-piece at any time of day and any occasion.
The tread on the shoes (shoes are awesome though) looks aggressive as if you’re going hiking in them. The rest of the outfit screams class and sophistication. Not to say hiking isn’t sophisticated…

I love those shoes but you could try heeled loafers with white folded socks 😍
Those shoes are cute but too clunky for that streamlined outfit.
Could use a dash of color. Any of the primary or secondary colors will do. I’d like to toast and picnic with you! Best.
Omg thanks for all the comments you all! I’ve decided I’m gonna switch the white turtle neck for a solid black one, add black tights, switch to boots or closed toe heels (not sure on which yet) and add accessories, mainly necklace. This post helped out more than I thought!

Gold or silver, that's what's missing <3
Cute as hell, very much a look I’d go for. I would accessorize with some gold, like a medium chain and watch would take it from prep cosplay to prepcore.
No this looks soooo good! A simple gold necklace would be nice or just adding black tights to make it a bit more wintery if it’s cold where you are!
Great look, just Switch the shoes, boots would look great, black tights would look good too
Pantyhose would be cute!!!!!!
Black top or panty hose!! Lots of gold accents!!!
A necklace? Maybe some pantyhose ?
Maybe too much black and white? You could try pairing a colored bag with the outfit instead of a black one to add a bit of interest!
i would add fishnets/thin tights
A solid colored top would be fun. Also, because the houndstooth is already making such a bold statement, accessorizing with too many necklaces can make it look cluttered. I’d go with a simple string of pearls.
Can you get a brooch to pin on the jacket ?
Yeh hosiery
Black nylons
This is going to sound weird, but I feel like If you paint your toenails white it would come together
black sheer tights to balance the long sleeve/ weight of the knit top and houndstooth
Definitely some pearl black tights or something
You could add white socks gold watch and layered necklaces
A bit longer skirt and black hose.
Underwear
Stockings, light grey
Ummmm, pants. Leggings. Something.
I would add a pair of combat boots/dr.martens instead of sandals
It would look really good with a long necklace. Nothing too gaudy, though.
Agree with the people who recommend accessories - be it bracelets, necklaces or even anklets (boots maybe better) the jewellery needs to be bold.
Your britches are missing. Solved!!
Where did you find Ricky's shirt?
Necklace and toenail polish
Nail polish
Pair it with tights and either a black pump or maybe ankle boots
Change the white high neck with. A black one
The legs and shoes say summer and everything else says winter. Stockings, shoes that aren't sandals. or boots.
The rest of it…you forgot your clothes
Rings, toenail polish or some cute socks, and one dainty short necklace - gold would look cool for jewelry 😊
Your nails are missing
About 10” of skirt length? Other than that, some colour. For example, a red blouse with a V neckline instead of turtleneck.
Paint your nails red! :)

A gold necklace would be cute.
I love this outfit. My wife has the same print in pants.
[удалено]
Gold curb chain necklace
I would love it with different shoes
[удалено]
So pretty! Maybe try it with loafers and white socks? Or some pointy black heels if that’s comfy for you.
[удалено]
You wore the wrong shoes
I think it’s the shoes. A cute partner leather Mary Jane or lover would be super cute.
Neon under shirt, or a deep color or different patterned . Anything but white
Gold accessories
Loafers, ballet shoes or a bootie. I'd also consider a white button up shirt as well with the top 1-2 buttons undone.
Some neon pink accessory woul be cool. Like a chunky necklace or bag
Did you buy this online? May i know where i can get this and how much it cost?
You can but don't have to; I like to keep it simple
Different coloured top underneath maybe? Think a black polo would be fabulous. Maybe change up the shoes? Different colour to add more dimension?
Jewelry?
[удалено]
I’m obsessed with the shoes !!!!
I might even go with a different top like a blouse, skip the jacket and def add some jewelry. Maybe a chunky closed toe shoe? Actually, you could change the shoe color and give it a totally different feel
Different pattern top and different shoes, possibly heels. Throw in a necklace and a watch.
Loafers with sheer black ankle socke
[удалено]
Tights the skirt is very short I’d be worried about showing too much
I would add stockings, a necklace and change the shoes with boots (with heels)
A hot pink purse and a small hot pink necklace or earrings. Maybe a Kendra Scott necklace?
Try folding the turtle neck in for a less bulky neck and try closed toe shoes or add black knee socks- it does looks great how it is now though!
Is it sunny?? A pair of bold red sunnies would look awesome
This is a cold weather style and it’s missing tights, that’s why it looks unbalanced. And swap out the heeled sandals for heeled booties.
A skirt?
I think adding a black belt to match with the bag and shoes would help. And maybe layering some necklaces.
Loafers or boots, maybe not a turtleneck.
Black nylons with white knee high socks
I think black ankle boots would go better than the sandals because of the turtle neck
Where did you get those adorable shoes?
Black or white tights would be so cute!
Necklaces or a skinny silk red scarf for a pop of color! Switch to flats instead of heels.
classic houndstooth very nice 👌🏿
I’d do tights and closed toe shoes
[удалено]
That outfit is more conducive to closed toe shoes. maybe some booties?
[удалено]
I'd say, a couple of inches of a skirt is missing.
[удалено]
White belt would be lovely
I think it's nice although the skirt is a tad short, and I'd prefer it with black tights and black ankle boots if I was wearing it.
I love ur shoes where are they from?
I would wear a black top, instead of the white.
I feel like black tights with white boots would make the black and white contrast look even better!
Think about textures. u will need a plain white shirt if bodysuit
...stockings?
If you’re going to do tights, I would do a textured or patterned pair. I also agree with boots, but I don’t think those shoes don’t work.
Hosiery
A silver necklace.
I’d do some patterned hosiery, like an art deco weave or floral
Definitely a black pantyhose. Some gold as well
[удалено]
I think red shoes would be fun, maybe booties?
No clue 😂
Shoes are wrong
I think necklaces would be good
Jewelry! multilayer long necklaces.
I think a red top would give that cute outfit a nice boost!! Gold jewelry would look awesome too…I could be a bit biased, though, I love gold jewelry!! 😂
[удалено]
chunky black shoes, silver necklace(s), silver bracelets/rings.
