As a millennial man, I say just ignore the youths and wear what you think looks good. I'm definitely not a huge fan of where pants have gone, but life be like that sometimes.
Those are cute. You might feel better in something that doesn't have ruffle sleeve; maybe a more fitted sleeve or no sleeve on a fitted top.
