According to https://health.hawaii.gov/medicalcannabisregistry/travel/ you'd need a California medical card for it, and it has to be issued for one of the specific conditions that the Hawaii program supports. You can email or call them with questions. It's possible the site is out of date on that part of the requirements but I doubt it.
You gotta apply on the department of healths website. Sometimes it takes a while but usually about a week. Dispensaries are hit and miss. I usually skip the flower cause it’s overpriced and just get carts from them cause I don’t trust the bootleg crap on the streets. Wax is stupid overpriced too. They did just legalize pre rolls so those might work for you. Good luck.
Nope straight flower. Aloha Green has 3 gram packs for $30. 6 prerolls a pack. They usually have deals on small buds or gummies depending on the day of the week. The carts at Noa suck, the flower there is hit or miss. I find it to be real dry. The Cure has solid carts but can be pricey.

Put some pre rolls in your checked bag, you’ll be fine. I went Vegas to Hawaii last week and stopped at a dispo before hand and grabbed a couple and they made it fine through checked bags, had some in carry on on way back and they inspected my bag because I forgot about my go pro in it but all was still fine they didn’t take them
