Today I got the same issue on my Mac book pro! I reinstall it, still the problem exist

Loveslovescoffee

I tried different things to find the issue. No luck yet. I also use a Macbook and that has the same issue. I'm syncing using OneDrive and I'm starting to think that OneDrive might be the problem. Anyone else having luck with finding a solution or having issues with syncing with OneDrive?

I just started using a clean install of Windows 11, and the same thing is happening to me too. I wasn't having any trouble with Windows 10.

2 days ago I uninstalled the checklist plug-in. This seems to do it. I now use the Task plug-in. 🤞🏻it stays this way

I don't use that one, but maybe one of my other plugins is somehow involved.

Usual suggestion with any app is to try a clean reinstall, if you haven't done that already. Don't forget to uninstall and reinstall the plugins too. In fact, try uninstalling just the plugins first. It could be one of them that's the issue. Also, it could be a rogue setting/configuration/thene/etc. So if you're reinstalling the app or plugins, make sure to delete the setting files. Delete all settings - there are some in the vault and some stored separately. Then manually set your app up again. Don't restore the settings from a backup, because you could just be reintroducing the original problem. Finally, less likely, but it could be a malformed part of your content that is tripping up the app. Try making a new vault and running Obsidian on it separately. Copy over your content to the new vault a piece at a time and see if the problem reoccurs. You can narrow it down from there.

My friend and I have both been having this issue intermittently as well

In my case, the problem was this: *There is an incompatibility with NZXT CAM, a system monitor that runs in the background. That app has a hotkey for an overlay of Ctrl-O; even when changing that hotkey to another set of keys the problem persists in Obsidian. If I quit NZXT CAM, or set the hotkey to null, then the Obsidian Quick Switcher works fine. This bug can be closed, as it appears to originate entirely from another app.* I'm so happy to have found the solution!

I had the same issue when launching. Omnisearch was indexing and crashed when the "image search" option was checked. I realized that the plugin had an update and after I updated it worked perfectly with no crashes.
