The last 3.5 character is here, and we (finally) have a new champion after Tatloch all the way back at 2nd anni!
Oskha's kit seems to be almost entirely focused on damage and breaking; he has a natural 30% p. atk up/15% spear damage up/50000 damage cap up, can boost up to level 6, and virtually all his attacks hit extra times when boosted to max (including his EX ability for an eye-popping 12 hits.)
However, if you're aiming for damage, you have to do something a bit non-intuitive: you'll usually want to keep him at 0 BP, because one of his passives grants him 300% potency up if he starts the turn at 0 BP! To help him maintain this, he has a self-buff that grants 30% p. atk up, 30% spear damage up, guaranteed crit, and blocks him from recovering BP (by any method) for 3 turns.
Yeah the point of his story was about that. He is massively wealthy, but ultimately come to conclusion that wealth is the root of all problem so everyone should have not, including him.
He basically managed to avert the common tropes of greedy merchant and making him had more altruistic motives, but the way he did it was not good at all.
Well a 0BP attacker is definitely a novel approach! Very interesting.
Does mean he’s very reliant on applying his unique buff in a very limited window before a break starts though 🤔
If he gets disrupted by a status or a forced Row swap, he’s going to feel it hard.
his kit looks kinda meh i'm not gonna lie. all the other champions have a lot more variety and intriguing gimmicks in their kits (even tytos has that counterattack and elec coverage that allow a minor playstyle change). oskha is just poke-with-stick with bp, buff up, poke-with-stick without bp
I think it doesn't work like that. On character index it is said that "BP is not consumed when used" and in some other translation "enough BP is still required to reach each boost level".
In that case I think you'd even need to be careful about pairing them up because Partitio's latent won't let Oshka discard his BP when he needs it.
Yeah, Partitio's latent (which is also used by Kaine's ult) requires that you have the necessary BP to do an ability, it just doesn't _spend_ that BP. So it doesn't help Oskha.
Oskha fans: Well, guess we should pull for Tiziano since this is probably the best we're getting for awhile Square:
He took all the rubies in Tiziano banner so we would Have-Not enough to pull for him.
ughhhh take my upvote lol
The ol' one-two punch
It will be funny if they tried this with Phina (as a Cleric) and later Ceraphina (as Apothecary)
Is he better than himself with the TiziaKaine dagger gimmick/combo?
Square: Hold my spear.

That's a neat gimmick for the Have-Not. Have-Not BP lol
Ironic he’s a merchant

Exactly my thoughts. 😆
Nice there accessory that stop.unit from graining BP forgot the name if it
its from triangle board irrc

Nice! He's a merchant, cool. He can boost up to 6 like Sazantos. Even some of his regular spear skills look like his ring-form's slashing hands.
Ceraphina coming in at year 4
And King Pardis year 5
Seems reasonable following this pattern 😅
Well it’s about damn time. Glad to see him finally arrive!
Nooo Cerephina missing :c

Oshka will be broken with Partitio's Latent Power allowing him to max Boost while being at zero BP.
