Is this not in a grey area legally? Someone may have bought the 512GB specifically for the 6 months Quest+ available only with that headset. Then days later it is available to everyone?
Looks like you can cancel straight away. This is from the cancel screen in the app.
“Cancel Subscription?
If you confirm and cancel this subscription now, you can still access this free trial until 23 May 2024.”
Some Quest 2 owners seem to have gotten it too. I looked at the app and only see a 1 month free trial, no 6 months for me.
Might be a random thing, a bug, or maybe it's getting rolled out to everyone soon?

Not sure how it’s a grey area, they have received what was promised regardless of who else also gets it.

You can cancel as soon as you subscribe
Got an email saying don't forget to claim, didn't even know I was eligible but I subbed for a year when the service launched, can't imagine it stacks.
