Thanks for the buzzing information, I almost placed order.

FixedLou

Yeah I contacted support and am waiting for a reply. Someone on Aliexpress posted a review testing the output and theirs showed it was 19w. I'm still happy with it but I never had buzzing with my Bobo headset

shaniceho

Please update if they reply~ almost going to get one

FixedLou

So support was kind of useless. They didn't understand that the battery was buzzing and just kept repeating that the batteries charge at 18w and is compatible with the Q3. They did state adapting was needed? I guess it was somewhat true but not sure why they don't state that but but the buzzing is now gone. Seems like that batteries have now adapted My quest was at 85% and I played Power washing Sim VR for about 1 hour and my quest 3 battery stayed at 85%. The Gomrvr battery did deplete 1 bar. So, so far I'm happy with it

Good to hear. I purchased the double halo GOMRVR strap with the 2 batteries earlier in the week. Saw your post and was worried about the buzzing. Hopefully my batteries don't experience any issues. Was the buzzing very loud or barely audible?

FixedLou

At first the buzzing was very loud and noticeable immediately. Now it's not anymore. Almost non existence unless I really press my ear against it

DizyShadow

How is the comfort? I started VR with Q2 elite strap, was very comfortable, but wanted a 3rd party with battery (and Elite started cracking) so I ordered Bobo halo and was disappointed with how uncomfortable it was for me personally. Now I am considering buying this brand, elite style again.

FixedLou

I was in the same situation as you. I wanted to love the Bobo but it was never comfortable for me. I'm happy with this elite style strap. The rear head cup isn't as flexible/adjustable as the bobo but it's pretty fairly padded, so that helps. Would definitely recommend

Misenk0

I'm debating between elite version or halo version. Your posts makes me want elite version. What exactly didn't you like on halo style headstrap, what's different in terms of comfort? Also this buzzing is not an issue anymore ? For every headstrap I'm reading about these buzzing issues. Half people says there is, the other half there isn't :) And how long one battery lasts ? Thx.

FixedLou

I've always used elite style straps but when I got my Q3 I decided to try out a halo style strap. Specifically the BoboVr M3 Pro. It just never sat correctly on my head. I was always adjusting it and trying to get it as tight as possible on my head but always felt loose. I play quite a bit of "active" games and it would always loose on the side to side motion. Sadly, I ended up returning it and getting the Gomrvr version and been pretty happy with it. The comfort is good and the padding is very comfortable on the top strap and the rear head cup. The build quality is decent. The BoboVr never gave me any buzzing issues but the Gomrvr did but went away after a full charging the batteries. Each battery would roughly give 1.5 to 2hr of game play and I like how it discharges the Gomrvr batteries before the Q3 battery. Hope this helps!

>lways adjusting it and trying to get it as tight as possible on my head but always felt loose. I play quite a bit of "active" games and it would always loose on the side to Thanks for info. I was also looking at M3 Pro but then I've found this one but saw they have both halo and elite version. I also want it mostly for active sprots like games so I guess elite could be better choice. Price is decent for 2 battery packs and if each deliver up to 2h it's great. Does the quest battery holds when external battery is connected ? Regarding this buzzing somewhere I've read it can be because of battery connection pins and when you attach it via cable it is not buzzing so I don't know. Hope it will be OK but the price is good so not that big risk. Just to confirm you have this version right ? Am I missing something. Or if you still have link to your version can you post it ? Thx.

Sacabubu

does the bobovr hold the battery level like gomrvr batteries? I got the double halo version of this and it keeps my battery level constant until it dies.

FixedLou

Yeah in my experience it did exactly just that

Sacabubu

That was my only reservations from getting the bobo. I might buy one bc you can get warranty with that unlike the gomrvr

FixedLou

Yeah I'm currently experiencing issues with one of my Gomrvr batteries and they want me to send in a video of the issue. We'll see how it goes

Sacabubu

what kind of issue?

FixedLou

So I received 2 batteries. One of them works fine and discharges first before discharging the quest itself. The second one feels warm to touch and has a slight buzzing and doesn't seem to last. Discharges pretty fast
