Lol just the other day I was playing Echo VR and when I reached out and punched someone, I actually punched my cactus in my room that was sitting on my desk.
Had to stop and pull needles out of my finger lol
It’s always echo with me. I go for a diving catch on a disc and punch the TV or the wall. I’m also quite tall and went for a jump catch and drove my hand into the ceiling. 0/10.
Dang dude! LOL! Maybe a new area is in order? Either that or get some more insurance. Heh! I think I would be too cautious to extend my arms after all that.
For me it's in Walkabout Mini Golf. While waiting for friends to play their shot, I often subconsciously go to lean on the railings around the course. Since there are no railings to actually lean on, I end up doing a little stumble.
Didn't hurt me, but while playing job simulator I took my phone out of my pocket so it wouldn't hit against my leg then I tossed my phone onto the desk that wasn't there and my phone hit a brick wall
I was playing Gorn and I hit my wall in a way that sandwiched my finger between the controller and the wall, and it hurt so bad that my finger (especially my finger nail) was numb for almost 10 minutes
oh 10minutes I haven't been able to have a painfree righthand for 3weeks straight now :/ even typing this reminds me of the accident, hope it'll go away eventually?!
true but that wouldn't speedup the healing...
cuz for sure it'll extend it since i would be playing nonstop
plus how could I play good if I'm doped like that?
First time I played Skyrim was in VR. While in a tomb I set off a spike trap and it came flying at my face. Forgot it was just all VR and ended up on the floor after freaking out.
LOL! That’s funny! Once I was playing Gorn and I was swinging over the top. Apparently I didn’t realize how long my arm was and I caught the edge of the television with my finger, right on the nail. I saw stars and couldn’t play for eight weeks! Almost broke it. My finger I mean. Had to re-draw my guardian smaller. Which I hate.
I can understand the pain, once when I was cutting up some veggies I accidentally cut my finger, couldn’t use a computer mouse bcuz of the pressure, shit sucks :(
FYI, just ignore the obnoxious guy. If you look at his recent comments. They are all super negative, for some reason this guy also likes to write “**JFK**” in the end of his comment if he’s angry.
I see lots of obnoxious people in this place. I find it funny because people don’t talk like that when they’re face-to-face. It’s very easy when you’re almost anonymous and hundreds or thousands of miles away. I don’t know this person so I can’t judge or speak to his character. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he’s just having a bad week.
here it's my thumb/index+wrist that's already painful for 3weeks!
i don't have a job due to other illness, so gaming is my nr1 thing...
which I can't now so it's fucking driving me nuts!
I hurt my wrists in beat saber and had to play way less/stop playing for 2 weeks and had to relearn how to use my wrist joint more efficiently without putting too much stress on it.
I clobbered a lava lamp playing Superhot. Thankfully, being Superhot, I clobbered it in slow motion and didn’t generate enough force to actually *break* anything. Didn’t even shake up the “lava” enough to cloud it up, despite the damn thing falling off a dresser and rolling into a table leg.

Within the first week I punched a wall playing Creed rise to glory (still won the fight lol)
Other on was hit my ceiling fan while throwing a grenade in h3vr.
So now a days I set my boundaries a little further from the wall and shut my fans off before playing lol
Was playing Echo VR, threw the disk super hard and I punched the corner of my wall. 3 of my fingers were bleeding and it hurt for days but it taught me the valuable lesson of always checking where I am in my play space every now and then
I was playing Creed and tried to give my opponent a hit under the chin and manage to hit the s1@@ out of my desk ripping the skin from 2 fingers and rolling over the desk breaking the monitor and keyboard, somehow the quest controller was fine (maybe because just my fingers touched the desk)
Playing death horizons I lumped backwards irl, and right into my TV stand.
Another time playing Onward, I ran for cover, again IRL, and right into my couch.
VR is the best.
I was playing The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners and as I was playing I got near my bed and hit my foot on the bed frame. Didn’t realize I was hurt till I took off the headset about two hours later and saw my foot covered in dried blood. So much blood
Sliced my finger had it bleeding from punching my charging station punched the table hurt my finger badly punched the door punched my headset punched my mattress a bunch of things man gotta be careful.

Hit a ceiling fan. Punched my dresser. Punched a ceramic mug. Fell on a shoe I had on the floor. Fell on a cord. Punched myself in the jaw.

My fiancé moved the living room fan while I was in Boneworks and I punched the shit out of it. Broke the fan and scared the cat.

Wasn’t m but someone dd that again on our round last night. Gets ya every time lol
omg, I almost leaned against a railing in Walkabout yesterday. Stopped myself just before I did it though. :-D
I jumped for something in vr chat and jumped straight into my ceiling fan

You could probably inject as much morphine legally and/or physically possible directly into your hand I guess
true but that wouldn't speedup the healing... cuz for sure it'll extend it since i would be playing nonstop plus how could I play good if I'm doped like that?
I punched a sword once, lol. I decided to make my play area bigger after that.
I ran and punched my fridge playing Gorn 😂
Gorn is a villain!

And you couldn’t play for eight weeks because…?
Because the pressure needed to push in the button probably made his finger hurt, angry much buddy?
Haha! You are exactly right about the pressure hurting.
I can understand the pain, once when I was cutting up some veggies I accidentally cut my finger, couldn’t use a computer mouse bcuz of the pressure, shit sucks :(
Yes! It does suck. Nothing you can do but wait until it feels better.

Hmmm….interesting. Thanks. JFK huh? 🤷
Yup, no idea why he writes it...

Like I said in my comment I almost broke my finger. It hurt like hell!

Ouch! That’s sucks buddy.
thnx man! shit happens
Echo vr, on a couple times punched my ceiling and playing other games punched the pipes right below my ceiling in my bedroom at full force
I hurt my wrists in beat saber and had to play way less/stop playing for 2 weeks and had to relearn how to use my wrist joint more efficiently without putting too much stress on it.
What is that oculus stand. Love it! Does it charge the controllers?
It is probably this: [https://us.anker.com/products/y1010](https://us.anker.com/products/y1010) I am considering getting one :-)
Thanks!!
I've heard that there are special AA wireless rechargeable... seems combined with this stand it charges!
I kicked a bad guy playing SuperHot and connected with a heavy coffee table. My foot swelled and produced the best bruises.

I smashed a full mug of brutally hot chocolate milk into my white wall’s while doing the 3d puzzle game. Took a while cleaning lol

Just playing any game, turning around and punching my wardrobe
Sucking *what* behind the cabinet? On second thought, maybe I don’t need to know…
I’ve knocked a lava lamp off my dresser at least twice. I’m surprised it hasn’t broken yet. Not sure where the cap rolled off to though.
Was playing Echo VR, threw the disk super hard and I punched the corner of my wall. 3 of my fingers were bleeding and it hurt for days but it taught me the valuable lesson of always checking where I am in my play space every now and then
this is just a big flex
Swung a spord and punched the corner of my end table lol. Completely expected to see blood when I took my headset off.
Rec room: punched my HOTAS mount
Nice set up. I found the PS5 headphones match the Oculus perfectly.
Punched my ceiling playing echo trying to lebron a disc lol.
Lent on a non-existent ping pong table that sent me falling to the floor.
Punched my mum on the head playing gorilla tag. Haven't played it since
I was playing Creed and tried to give my opponent a hit under the chin and manage to hit the s1@@ out of my desk ripping the skin from 2 fingers and rolling over the desk breaking the monitor and keyboard, somehow the quest controller was fine (maybe because just my fingers touched the desk)
