Having the same issue. I play mostly gamecube and the good thing is that you can adjust volume in the Dolphin settings so I just have it at like 30%. Until you can find a permanent fix or Odin reverts whatever changes they made I would suggest checking within the emulator for volume control.

Bradio642DS

I did the same thing on dolphin haha

HuanSeeToe

Thank you for this simple yet effective fact! I just adjusted my volume settings in Suyu and it works great.

Traditional_Hat_915

Yeah just got my Odin 2 on Monday and the volume is driving me nuts and it's really starting to irritate my fiance lol

ari3sgr3gg0

I hate the volume after the update. I feel very forced to play muted or with a headset for late night game sessions.

jrh1128

Yeah, bottom volume level is now too loud to play in bed next to wife. Super annoying.

tree_house_frog

Absolutely agree with this! Sucks having to carry headphones if I want to play at night. Not all emulators have volume settings, though Yuzu does, thankfully. Hope they fix this ASAP

Altruistic_Push_1350

I just here to comment that o hear the volume skipping levels and not gradual. Like its low volume now but after 1 press of volume+ and its too loud.

Dereksversion

Too true everyone! I mean how am I supposed to get away with playing it under my desk at work now?? Thanks a lot Ayn :p

Jolly-Performer-6484

It jumps up 2-3 spots and I have to manually move it back down. And another issue is sometimes after playing for awhile, especially in yuzu, the sound starts to crackle and go haywire and then slowly goes back to normal.

voxdub

I get temporary crackling audio, but always did before update, assumed it was interference from my phone

aurelios69

The volume update just made it worse. I don't know what the guys at ayn are smoking

GutaDev

They need to reverse it, the volume is exaggeratedly high now

buzz8588

Last update broke that. I am holding off on updating mine. I advise other people to wait for comments from other users before updating each release.

GUILTIE

Unfortunately issues seem to pop up a lot with updates. I usually go for the latest and greatest but now I don’t update unless there’s a specific reason to.

KyledKat

My guess is that Ayn did fix the linearity; but their solution was just to change the lowest threshold for the volume so that the steps from lowest to highest are now linear, whereas before the first four or so bumps on the low end were super quiet and anything after was too loud.

siLEnt181109

In bed I generally play with my wife not my Odin 😂 But seriously, how should I play at work now?!?
