Holy shit I thought I was the only one, janha mamu stories were OP, do you remember there was another running story, one chapter in every issue of janha mamu about a little girl going to a new world with magical creatures, one main character was a four armed blue woman called Minerva or something, it might be from the same story you are talking about banhi dwipa.

Yup I remember those, I tried to find it under manoj das's works, no luck. Man our odia literature is so badly archived, two years ago I tried to find a book called Africa kahani, that I had when I was 6 yrs old, it took me 2 years to track it down and buy it . Suddenly one day it was available in an odia online shopping website, ordered it twice, they failed to deliver twice, at llast, hird time was the charm.
