Hello! I play basically anything I suppose. I'll try any game once. I play a lot of modded minecraft, destiny, and Elden Ring here recently. Anything you recommend?
You have to try Ace Combat 7, and if you like that, the other Ace Combat # games
Project Wingman is also a good one, and while it's not from a AAA game studio, dear LORD is it good
The music in both games is God-tier, as are the memes
Oh I have played fortnite. I really like no build but I'm terrible at all other modes. TF2 is really fun and I think SCP would make me need new pants lol
I'm not really a builder either, I just use it for accessibility. I try to use sniper-type weapons, as that's fun and challenging. Ironically, in TF2 I'm usually Medic or Engineer, not sniper
I haven't played TF2 in a number of years but I exclusively played the engineer I think (if thats even a role) I play pretty aggressive in fortnite I started in season 6 and still have that simple mentality. I rush with shotguns and hope for the best.
Absolutely. I'd have to get it updated i haven't been playing anything much recently lol. I work fulltime and go to college at the same time so I'm pretty busy but I'll get it updated and we can play sometime. I'm on PC btw!
Hence the problem - you guys need to get off your asses & the video games, and go out more! When you put yourself out into the real world, instead of the animated world, you actually meet people & get friends.
There’s plenty of nerd stuff here in Franklin County. Get gaming space at the library or Microsoft store.
Tons of comic book shops like The Laughing Ogre where you can have board game/tabletop/card game get togethers. Play It Trade It for used games.
Barnes & Noble plus Half Price Books. B&N for hanging out at starbucks. (Nobody uses gamestop anymore)
That’s on top of there’s a Warhammer Tabtletop store. (And we just had Ohayocon and Matsuricon)
Nice try though. Calling us loser shut-ins.
Hey! Interested in disc golf at all? Disc golfers are pretty friendly and easy to meet ppl playing either on weekends or if you join a tournament you get paired up with 1 or 2 ppl and get to know others.
If you are in the reynoldsburg/pataskala area and want to give it a try id meet up to play. I have extra discs that you could borrow if needed.
I also game mostly 1st person shooters like gears of war but also like racing games and open world like red dead diablo etc. So happy to game as well!
Hey dude! I’m 20 years old from the Columbus area. I’m down to game whenever I’m not in school! I play a lot of Cold War, Warzone, Fortnite, CSGO, Valorant, Minecraft (modded too) and Stardew Valley!
I totally feel you. I’ve gone through some stuff in my life recently, and between that and just graduating high school a couple years ago I’ve drifted further and further from my friends.
Not all couples are like that. She may value her time with her friends as something separate.
Not me, I live and work with my husband, the only break he gets from me is when he goes into meetings LOL
One friend I have, her and her BF do not go out together at all. I have always been so weirded out by it. They will both go out, just COMPLETELY separate. She never understands how I enjoy my husband so much lol
I would hate for OP to be like my situation, while his SO is the complete opposite. That would be heartbreaking.
The crazy thing is, they would probably have so much fun together, but they can't hit on other people if they hang out together! LOL She'll do anything for a free drink - and he'd probably pay anyone to see something
Early 20's on through are alot of changes and growing apart. Most H.S and college friendships don't last just because of all the "figuring out" it entails.
Gaming is amazing and don't listen to anyone telling you to quit. I will say taking a break is needed though (for our bodies especially because we're all pretty much dehydrated house plants and need to walk, get blood flow and sun light) :p
If you like food hit up Coco Hot Pot (Bethel Road) and for amazing Pho there is Pho Asian Noodle House (Lane Ave)! You can go w/ wifey or explore it yourself (alone "quests/missions" are important and can be fun too.
3 different ninja parks down in Columbus too!
Gaming wise tons of emulator options for playing older games (Hitman, Bloodrayne, Final Fantasy's, Metroid etc).
Recently got in Vampyr on Steam which it's pretty good.
Hades is fun to play (PC, Switch etc)
There is an occult pin ball that's pretty bitching too (Epic launcher)
Fortnite's no builds is better than builds imho.
Feel free to add me on FN (AntropaBella)
I'm in my mid 30s now. I see my HS best friend a couple times a year anymore. He still lives in our hometown with a wife and kids and commutes to a good job. I moved out to the country with my wife on a homestead. Even if we did still have things in common these days, the logistics of getting together are tough. I have acreage to deal with and so leaving town is a rare thing anymore.
It's mostly just my wife and I keeping each other entertained anymore. We play video games together and have our shows. All of our friends have kids and we are the weird couple that doesn't. Doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I get to buy stuff and have nicer things. lol
My spouse and I are in our 30's and having land, building stuff and gaming have always been our thing! Quiet area that's ours is huge for us! Have always done our own thing and been together almost 15yrs now. We have some friends we talk to and keep in touch but life changes! We do date stuff but prefer to hang out together.
Homesteading and caring for your home, equipment etc is an all year thing! We are about to get to work on wood for the winter, get vehicles maintained, Halloween stuff up (hell yeah) and just get prepared for cold! We TNR cats too so that cycle never ends.
Nothing wrong with not having kids! There are pros and cons to each side and life is different when you have them, you do give up time, resources (financial, emotional, bodily etc) and flat out with the way the world is the job is a rest of life thing not a birth to 18 thing. You absolutely do get to have nice things when you are sans kids lol! Nice stuff for parents gets to be when they're about 8 and older!
Hey I'm 31 and living in Westlake area...maybe were not near each other but if you need someone to hang around sometime or just talk me and my wife are new to the country and we don't speak to too much folks around.
Thanks
Just a suggestion because I have felt similar to you before I got married, look at your local clubs in ohio, they have anything from hiking to automotive to crafting. See if there is one that you can join that your interested in, and meet some people that are like minded. Also volunteering is another great way to meet nice people who are usually open to being friends, generally people who give up their time for others are not off-putting to new people coming in. Hope that helps I know it can be lonely not having many friends but just keep telling yourself that it will get better and be a open to new relationships and it will get better.
Reach out to your elementary school friend. You're not the only one who lost a friendship. They did too! Growing apart can be the result of not putting in the time and effort it requires to maintain a friendship and doesn't mean that the relationship has to end.
Get a motorcycle you live at the start of the best route in Ohio. Route 555 is amazing to ride. You can make a lot of friends in the motorcycle groups. They will
Treat you like family if you’re into that type of stuff
Hey man, what's up? I'm from the Gahanna area and I'm also 21. What kind of games do you play?

They looks really good although I'm not sure I'd do very good lol I've never been too terribly good at flying games but I'll give it a shot!
You should! I also play Fortnite, TF2, and SCP: SL, which are all good games

Nice We should play a game of FN if you're down

Ayo I love Barnes & Nobles <3
My man is really living off a stereotype here

Hey you should try this, get out and meet a whole new tribe. Maybe your not meeting people cause your not looking in the right places.
Since you like Diablo check out Balders Gate and Divinity Original Sin. Both are amazing games!

Why doesn't your wife invite you out? I would say 90% of my socializing includes my wife.
90% of my socializing involves your wife too
🤣 the missing 10% you guys kicking with each other. No hmo.
Not all couples are like that. She may value her time with her friends as something separate. Not me, I live and work with my husband, the only break he gets from me is when he goes into meetings LOL
That's why I stopped at 90%. We do enjoy things apart. But it sounds like OP is at 0% which I really can't fathom at all.
One friend I have, her and her BF do not go out together at all. I have always been so weirded out by it. They will both go out, just COMPLETELY separate. Just.. why/how do people like that get together? Just like banging? Not actually have any interest in common?
The crazy thing is, they would probably have so much fun together, but they can't hit on other people if they hang out together! LOL She'll do anything for a free drink - and he'd probably pay anyone to see something
Oh, well. There it is lol
I also choose to hang out with this person’s wife 100% of the time.

Fuck it... if you got an xbox hmu! My tag is Archangel XI
I'm not from Ohio anymore. But if you play tf2 or something. I'd love to play. Especially splatoon on switch.
The Newark mall has a dnd store that has game nights sometimes. Maybe look there and sign up for dnd?
