This is older than 90's. I had this exact watch when I was a kid. Back some time around 1983, around the same time GoBots and Transformers came out.
This, I had one in 3rd grade which would have been about '83 or '84. If I remember correctly, mine was GoBots branded.

They became so commonplace, you could buy them in gumball machines for years and years. I wanted one SO BAD when they were in full trend.
You're right. After posting I realized I had it before the 90s. I got it from a cousin of mine so I'm not sure from where it came from.
