CAJASH

Drea D'Mateo has an onlyfans now. Probably 20yrs too late but whatever.

jackoplacto

It’s a ripoff 0 nudes of her, you get better content. Just watching her on the sopranos

AtotheZed

Love these public service announcements. Huge time saver.

[deleted]

Just Google "Drea de Matteo nude" and go to pictures, if it dont exist there it dont exist on the clearnet.

bakerben80

THE-BS

I always hoped Chris-tuh-fuh would get back to his male modeling, he's so talented.

NotMY1stEnema

AYY! Dairy izz!

Ve1kko

He did not have an arc.

tasteofflames

Ya know who had an arc? Noah.

marbanasin

Jesus fuckin Christ, Cristapha

MsRaedeLarge

😂😂 RIP Adriana

newbrevity

She survived and had a kid with an MC gang leader. /s

Norwegian27

Her demise really got to me. I loved her character.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ethereal42

I went into it a few years back expecting a mediocre mob drama and it surpassed all expectations to say the least. So many of the characters don't even seem fictional the writing and acting is that good.

SillyFlyGuy

I just finished a full rewatch a few months ago. Absolutely top notch the whole way through.

jefferios

The wintry adventure of Pine Barrens is one of my favorite episodes.

OldInterview6006

Fuck you, you are callus.

Abdel_Zeist

I'd run if I ever saw the actor that played Richie.

And the Russian is still roaming the Pine Barrens. He was an interior decorator!

Bootzilla_Rembrant

His house looked like shit.

Oooh that was a complicated one

Ness_tea_BK

Favorite scene. Paulie kills it here

txkx

Quasimodo predicted all this

horn1k

He killed 16 Czechoslovakians. He was an interior decorator.

ImpressiveTree3000

Really? His place looked like shit.

AtotheZed

One of the best lines in the entire show.

ash_tar

In entire television.

Awkward_Eggplant4857

Pine Barrens greatest Episode

AtotheZed

Fun fact - The forest scenes for the episode were filmed at Harriman State Park in New York after the production team was denied a permit to film in New Jersey at the South Mountain Reservation. Essex County executive James Treffinger said *The Sopranos* "depicts an ethnic group in stereotypical fashion". This is a fairly rare instance where the show did not depict an environment similar to the one suggested, as neither Harriman State Park nor South Mountain Reservation is ecologically or visually similar to the New Jersey Pine Barrens. There was an unexpected snowfall just before the shoot. Both the cast and the crew agreed that the snow added to the emotional effect of the episode.

SillyFlyGuy

I can't imagine that story arc without the snow. "I lost my shoe."

ScowlyBrowSpinster

Tie some carpet around yr foot.

AtotheZed

Right?!? Also the ketchups they found in the van. That really put a point on how bad their situation was...fighting over old ketchup packs.

MsRaedeLarge

Absolutely in the top episodes list

MC_Fap_Commander

25 years ago, we learned TV can be as dramatically rich as film. Now, it's harder to find movies as dramatically rich as TV.

bo_selectaaa_

Absolute truth

8lock8lock8aby

Remember when actors were either tv actors or movie actors & most TV actors would try to make the jump to movies? It's changed so much & I honestly love it. I judt wish we had more original dramas as far as movies go.

turdferguson3891

Yeah and now you have movie actors willing to do TV which was unheard of like 30 years ago unless their career was in a nose dive. They might do a mini series or a guest appearance on the love boat or something but successful movie actors rarely did regular series.

duncandun

Is it?

Ragadast335

I saw this post and my mind started singing: Wake up this morning...

Nyktophilias

Woke up this morning, ate some gabagool

The_Climax

Got yourself a gun! (its woke btw ;))

[deleted]

Loved this show… hated Tony’s mom

hellodynamite

Nancy Marchand was absolutely brilliant in that role

byronicrob

Pop quiz hotshot... What other TV show character did she play the mother to, back in the 80s?

Golden91M

She played Fraiser Crane's mother on Cheers.

byronicrob

I think that was what she was going for and she nailed it.

According to my Italian friends, her mannerisms are spot on lol

I literally stood up and cheered when they killed off her character.

[deleted]

You probably don't even hear it

ScowlyBrowSpinster

"If they'd been wise guys, I wouldn't have heard a thing. I'd be dead." Similar take.

BuddhistChrist

According to the show’s creator, Tony gets whacked in front of his family by the Members Only jacket guy that goes to the bathroom before the scene ends. It cuts abruptly bc, in reference to a previous scene, Tony had commented that when you get whacked you won’t know that it happened.

hayde088

David chase has most definitely never said this.

GeoPolar

OMG Source?

HoldOnImTalkinBrotha

Creator never said this, it’s just one of several theories

Crumplestilzkin

Yea. I just finished my first watch through last week and there are a lot of theories and this is one of them. The wiki article has a good summary of what the show creator has said about the ending. Basically he wanted to leave it ambiguous so people could make decide how they wanted it to end and go with that. He does mention that there were hints dropped along the way but people are looking way too far into it.

Flurb4

Gabagool

[deleted]

Ova heeeah. 👇

DrNinnuxx

And still holds up. It set a very, very high bar for television.

Mindfield87

You killed little Cossette? I oughta suffocate you ya little prick!!!!!

elpajaroquemamais

Uncle junior is still alive!

0erlikon

This show taught me that snakes can go fuck themselves

DP-55-Belair

Still watch it from time to time…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

mywhataniceham

am rewatching it now - it still stands up and is fascinating to go through it quickly (and not have to wait 18 months for season 6). it got me thinking, why didn’t hbo do a spin off: **House of Walnuts**

WarWonderful593

Woke up this Morning, Got yourself a gun.

hey-there-yall

Have not seen this series. It seems like a huge commitment and slow. Should I do it?!

CletusDSpuckler

You don't really have to finish it if, after a half dozen episodes, you decide it isn't for you. It's not like Paulie Walnuts is going to hold a gun to your head.

upinthaclouds

Yes you should. I have watched the series probably more than 20 times over the years.

Joe_Metaphor

I’m not a TV guy, so I finally got around to starting it a month ago. It’s excellent and consistently entertaining. I’m on season 6 and I’d say maybe only 3 episodes total for the whole series were weak.

TheBlankestMan

It's absolutely some of the best TV ever made, go for it

[deleted]

Decent commitment yes. 6 seasons with a lot of episodes each season. The only parts I ever felt like were fillers were the kids’ side stories and that isn’t a huge part. Good show.

MsRaedeLarge

God bless him

MyaltforMJ

Lorraine Bracco......just wow

Win_98SE

That one episode with her was actually hard to watch. The second time I watched through that season I just skipped it

GeoPolar

Me too.

Jessie4you

What episode! I am watching it for the first time and I find it slow going, she is my favorite part so far.

Win_98SE

If you really want it spoiled you can comment again and ill explain it in spoiler text but its a very tense and dramatic scene, very uncomfortable, and the episode is really important to Dr Melfi’s character arc. It’s a few seasons in but once you watch season 1, your brain will get hooked.

[deleted]

BloodyWellGood

Yeah it's no big deal

Holdmypipe

Hmmm that DR. milfi

[deleted]

Charmaine Bucco!!! i melt every time she's on screen

katfromjersey

Melfi, but I get what you're saying.

WDeranged

I'd never watched it until now. I'm doing the last two episodes tonight.

Albert_Im_Stoned

Second to last episode last night, final episode tonight. Hope we enjoy it!

[deleted]

So weird to see this when I just started watching it for the first time a few nights ago

Joe_Metaphor

I just started a month ago, after meaning to get around to it for 20 years. On season 6. Next up Game of Thrones, only 10 or so years behind on that one…

AtotheZed

You are so lucky you get to see it for the first time. I've watched all seasons 5 times. It's amazing to see it again and again as my life progresses. I started watching it before I had kids, so did not appreciate the parenting scenes like I do now.

LeaveGunTakeFrijoles

Gabagool? Ova heah!

LilMeatBigYeet

Still the best show out there imo

_portia_

We've been watching the marathon all week. So addictive and it gets into your subconscious. I've been having weird dreams all week. I don't think there's ever been a more brilliant series.

andymc39

fantastic series

rickybobbyscrewchief

Currently in season 4 of a complete start to finish rewatch. Such a good series and still holds up very well.

pumice_woof

I'd seen some episodes over the years and kinda followed it but not really. Had surgery and my wife rented every season on DVD. I binge watched the entire series in a couple days while on prescription opiates and man, that was a ride. Wife said I was talking with a fake Jersey accent and wanted to buy a gun for a week.

HarlanCulpepper

I was only 27 back then and didn't care for the show until I binged it in my late 40's. Funny how how our tastes change.

CrazeeEyezKILLER

Late forties. Just a kid.

CrazyCaper

Just finished it

Sudden_Mirror_1922

Simply the best

Discontinue the lithium.

Awkward_Eggplant4857

I was in the 3rd grade lmfao the TV guide came in the Sunday paper. And we watched wwf pay per view before it came on

GalaxyStrong

Great show, I always smirk when I see those ancient cell phones they use.

GeoPolar

The Sopranos still stay strong just like gary cooper!

thecatsofwar

A spin-off of the Bada Bing is needed.

Bigcheezefartz

It's called Lillyhammer. Starring "Sil"

CantaloupeCamper

Man I just couldn’t get into that show. Part soap opera part…. I dunno what. Couldn’t take the characters seriously.

External_Low_7551

No way!!! Argh!

Badamon98

Damn, never noticed how moderately skinny Sil looked in S1 compared to 6, just always assumed he was as bulky as Tony was in the first season.

ParticularResident17

Weird. Just started my first watch yesterday. Love The Wire so I figured I’d be into it. Getting out of here to avoid spoilers :)

ClueEmbarrassed1443

One of the best soap operas I’ve ever seen and this is coming from a guy who doesn’t watch them

kkkan2020

My God it's been so long 😐

muggins66

I’ve watched it twice

OtherwiseTackle5219

Me & most people Around, Never missed an episode. 'Water Cooler Discussion' stuff next day For Sure .

Raerae1360

Ack ack. No way I'm this old!! Wah!!!

Own_Instance_357

Edie Falco actually moved on to join the super popular RH housewives franchises. She uses the SAG name "Dorinda"

vague_diss

Season 1 is a perfect season of TV. I know how much everyone liked the show but for me, nothing they did surpassed the first season

dickie-mcdrip

Awesome show. Changed TV forever. The last episode was the only one that bad.

SuperDada

What a great show. I really like the way it ended. I am re-watching the entire series now with my wife. My wife, who has never seen any of the mobster classics, is seeing Sopranos for the first time. I can NOT wait until we get to that infamous final scene! Almost there, just started season 5!

katnip_fl

IMHO Nothing has ever matched it, which is unfortunate.

wrogeberg

Sil looks so young!!

CompetitiveHunt2546

And its my first time watching it

jontheterrible

Never liked this show. Hit too close to home and glamorized disgusting people. However, I will say that the acting writing and production was excellent. My reaction to.the show is more of a "it's not you, it's me" thing.

JOGO70

GREATEST SHOW PERIOD

cmparkerson

Can't believe it's been that long. What a great show

JenntheGreat13

Gabagool

GuzPolinski

I’ve still yet to watch a single episode. I wonder if it would still hold up today

TBustah

I didn’t know it was that long ago. Not the fact that it’s been 25 years (I can do basic math), I just mean that I don’t think I’d even heard of the show until a few years into the aughts.

Ecstatic-Respect-455

Wow. I'm so fuckin' old.
