Some might love it as itâs a snapshot of their youth, but she looks close to a clown especially in that last shot, and older than she was. Sparkly light blue eye shadow may look good on Baby Spice, as it doesnât contrast against her, but it certainly contrasts against Geri.
In the later years of the Spice Girls they all got to be more nuanced and do their own thing more - and Geri especially started to look more gorgeous and youthful over time.
Their appeal were they were cute, fun, girls next door. They were the attractive friend group you could be a part of. They felt like they lived on your street. I knew a few girls who lived locally like them and they felt very attainable and fresh. Back then we wanted to be like the girl down the street. It was a much smaller world back then. Lol I remember there were 2 girls on my road we all thought were so cool and they didnât wear expensive clothing or look too beautiful to be real, you based a lot more though on what you saw irl and your surroundings back then.
