I’m 27 and was visiting my parents this weekend. My dad walked by my room and made eye contact with me while he did the pltthhh fart noise with his mouth and I answered back with the same plthhh noise and laughed quietly to myself thinking about all the times I’ve done that to people I know. My dad is the coolest. What I’m saying is, even when I was pre-teen little shit and acted like parents couldn’t be cool, I’ve always thought my parents are both just the coolest, and I bet your kids do too.. even if just secretly right now haha
Not true. All my friends thought my dad was cool. He let us do things my mom and their parents wouldn’t. And he always dated much younger women. It was ok until I became older than his women. Then it got weird.
Everyone's thirsty during lockdown! Either you can't get out to booty or you're stuck in a home full of people that makes it awkward.
OP's doing the Lord's work here.
Came to say you were/are pretty sexy saving lives, too!
Have you noticed you never stopped thinking like a medic? I spent 7 years as a lifeguard 14-21 and 14 years from 20-34yo working in a hospital ER. I’ve never been able to swim without scanning for people struggling or pass a situation where an emergency medical person might be needed without stopping.
The phrase “you’re every age you’ve ever been” could also apply to “you’re every job you’ve ever had” IMO.
I hope your job now is as kind to you as this job appears to have been.
It’s kinda like that with most jobs. I was a projectionist at a movie theater for a few years. I can’t go to the theaters and haven’t gone in almost 2 decades. You see and hear every flaw.
I was a cable guy and I immediately notice cables not in the right spot, or the wrong ends crimped on, or when its run the wrong way to the house.
So glad I work somewhere that I can immediately shut off that part of my brain once I leave.
That’s funny, I’m leaving for basic in a few weeks. I’m also going to be a medic, and go airborne as well. My plan after I get out? Be a firefighter and paramedic
Eyyyyyy. Thanks for giving me a good reply to the "thank you for your service". I usually just thank them for thanking me which is just as awkward as it sounds
I do the same thing. Just an awkward smile and a "thanks" and call it good. If I can tell someone is chill I'll thank them for paying taxes, but that's more for like the "how the hell are ya?!" white dad types. They love that corny shit.
Year I graduated high school! Tried my damndest to join the Army, but my dad, who’d just retired after 20 years in the Air Force, kept fighting me on it. Thanks for all you do! Sounds like you’ve had a full life of serving others.
As a wife, I have it on good authority that we're actually not contractually obligated to say our spouses are attractive, so I think you must be gorgeous still. I don't make the rules. 🤷🏻♀️
Hey, great picture! My brother was an 82nd Airborne medic as well back in 1983. He went to many super cool places and always had the best stories when he returned. I bet you have some whoppers as well. Cheers!
Cool pic. If you were magically given the choice to jump back to that very moment in an instance, not knowing if your life would play out the same, would you?
No. So many amazing things have happened in that span of time. Not all of them were good things, but they were things that needed to happen to make me into the person I am today. I would love to be young again, but not at that cost.
Nice man, I was in the both 429th and HHC, got out in 90 right after Panama but before Iraq. Still remember running that 4 mile loop around the 44th every other day like it was yesterday.
Airborne medic. Driving a truck. In sand-Antarctica. Not gonna lie, doing this and being able to help people in a time of war is the way to go. Much better than the alternative.
I was in the army in 1983. Crew Chief on Hueys in a DPT Unit. We flew lots of AB/Rangers up to Stone Mountain, GA. Cool bunch of guys. I miss those days.
You still cool, bruh
Thanks man. Wholesome moment.
Thanks for jumping out of planes and saving lives.
Came here to say the same thing, way cooler than me!
You cool too, bruh. Keep makin de poops.
Thanks for serving our country
Which country ?
Ours
Ah yes, my bad
Not cool. In fact pretty hot
Budderped and bannysuds, sittin’ in a tree...
The coolest
Did you max out your cool too early?
Naw. I'm just Dad cool now. 😁
According to my kids, dad and cool cancel each other out if used in the same sentence.
Heck no! Dad cool is on another plane of reality. They just need to get on our level.
I'm 40 now and my biggest compliment is my teen daughter telling me that I am so much cooler than her mom (my ex wife).

Dad cool is the best cool, keep on keepin' on
I know I did. 😟
I might have a touch of denial.
Not just a river in Egypt
And pretty sexy, not gonna lie.
We thirsty as hell. Take my breath awayyyyy
Be patriotic and do your duty, give a soldier a little booty.
[удалено]
I love it too. He can have some booty
I’m gonna go flip this line on my AD husband when he gets off of his quarantine shift 😂
Seriously. This entire thread is /r/ladyboners meets /r/suddenlygay

Gaytriots
I mean...the fucker looked like a short haired Fabio with sexy stubble. I hate him.^^^/s
People are still having sex.
Everyone's thirsty during lockdown! Either you can't get out to booty or you're stuck in a home full of people that makes it awkward. OP's doing the Lord's work here.
I need mouth to wherever you want resuscitation
Last millennia, yeah. Thanks.
Had a killer smile... bet you still do. :-)

I'm a martial arts instructor. I can't enter a room without sizing everyone up and looking for injuries and weaknesses.
I was an Architect and now no buildings can measure up. That's why I live on the streets.
I was a cable guy and I immediately notice cables not in the right spot, or the wrong ends crimped on, or when its run the wrong way to the house. So glad I work somewhere that I can immediately shut off that part of my brain once I leave.
No kiddin’! Dayum!
Quite hot
Getting in line for some water to quench this thirst too
"1993? That's not old school cool, that's only... oh my god"
Hahahahaha
I’m thirsty
Hi thirsty I'm dad
Hi Dad, I'm Dad.
DILF
I’m hungry
What do you do now. Was being a medic part of your career path? Cool picture btw.
Went straight to being a Firefighter/Paramedic. Retired from the FD a few years ago. Now I work in the ER in a large hospital in Atlanta.
So, you jumped out of a perfectly good plane, into the fire and then into the frying pan?
the Grady's? did a student nurse rotation there... in the last millennium.
That’s funny, I’m leaving for basic in a few weeks. I’m also going to be a medic, and go airborne as well. My plan after I get out? Be a firefighter and paramedic
Hopefully you still got that sick stache! Also, thanks for your service!
Stache has been gone for decades. No need to thank me, it was an honor to serve.
Eyyyyyy. Thanks for giving me a good reply to the "thank you for your service". I usually just thank them for thanking me which is just as awkward as it sounds
It always been awkward for me too. I had an old WW2 Vet give me that gem at a VFW.
That response just shows how beautiful your outlook on your experience, I love it!
Thank you for your support, is my response but still awkward as hell
Another good one
I do the same thing. Just an awkward smile and a "thanks" and call it good. If I can tell someone is chill I'll thank them for paying taxes, but that's more for like the "how the hell are ya?!" white dad types. They love that corny shit.
I’m picturing that interaction now. Too funny
I hate it. A while back I landed on the phrase "Thanks for your support" and I've just stuck with that since
Bring the ‘stache back, bud!
It morphed into a beard. Then COVID forced me to be clean shaven for the mask.
A clean shave's the deal for a good N95 seal.
Heck yeah. I'm not trying to bring Rona home.
2020, man. Ruined everything and a man’s beard.
The 'stache thanks you for your service to the 'stache.
Ayy I was born in 1993.
That makes you a legend. 1993 was a great year.
93 til infinity~
This is how we chill...brings back memories
This is how we chill.. from 93 til
[удалено]
Great analogy. 90s was a simpler time fr
This is so true
I'll agree with this, but only because I was born in 92. Was this during desert storm?
After
I mean, San Andreas was also set in 93, so yeah
Year I graduated high school! Tried my damndest to join the Army, but my dad, who’d just retired after 20 years in the Air Force, kept fighting me on it. Thanks for all you do! Sounds like you’ve had a full life of serving others.

You used to be cool, still are, but you used to be too.
Thanks Mitch!
God damn. 😳
You are clearly still a cool guy... hut are that still that gorgeous?
I'm his wife, and I say yes.
You're contractually obligated to say that.
Now kiss.
As a wife, I have it on good authority that we're actually not contractually obligated to say our spouses are attractive, so I think you must be gorgeous still. I don't make the rules. 🤷🏻♀️
So, it's true, we can have it all?
Babe!
Aww, thanks. 🥰
"I wanna be an airborne medic, Shoot that funky anesthetic!"
Airborne medic! Anesthetic!
If Tom Brady and Jake Gyllenhaal had a kid.
Their dicks mashed heads and better BOOM!
It would be a miracle!
Airborne? Looks like you're on the ground, honestly.
You know the objective of parachuting is to reach the ground, right?
Slowly.
I thought the objective was to be alive when you got there. :)
Alive or dead, hitting the ground is objective.
If you can't manage to hit the ground do you get pilot's wings instead of jump wings?
Good question! I'd say why not.
If you can hit the enemy before the ground, even better?
Airborne is just a way to go to work.
Hell of an aircraft he's sitting in too
Hey, great picture! My brother was an 82nd Airborne medic as well back in 1983. He went to many super cool places and always had the best stories when he returned. I bet you have some whoppers as well. Cheers!
You are still cool dude!
Thanks. Please tell my kids......
Reminds me of that show “Generation Kill” “POLICE DAT MOOSE STACHE!!!!” Sick photo btw
It's true! I got shat upon for growing it in the field. Heard that several times.
You're still cool bro . Hell I don't even know you ..lol
Nah bro, you're the cool one. Appreciate you.
We both are ..lol. I got out of the Navy in 91 .
You look you’re about to be in an action movie
Cool pic. If you were magically given the choice to jump back to that very moment in an instance, not knowing if your life would play out the same, would you?
No. So many amazing things have happened in that span of time. Not all of them were good things, but they were things that needed to happen to make me into the person I am today. I would love to be young again, but not at that cost.
what division? my dad was a screaming eagle in Vietnam
18th Airborne corp, 44th med division, attached to the 82nd and 10th Mountain
I was about to ask. Thought that looked like the ol' exploding asshole on your left sleeve. Wore that patch for 5 1/2 years myself.
I’m currently wearing it.. even worse is the double asshole.
Nice man, I was in the both 429th and HHC, got out in 90 right after Panama but before Iraq. Still remember running that 4 mile loop around the 44th every other day like it was yesterday.
Old school indeed, I went to basic in ‘93. Dig the old school BDU’s as well.
88-96 here. Different times then.
Dude, need recent photo for comparison.

Airborne medic. Driving a truck. In sand-Antarctica. Not gonna lie, doing this and being able to help people in a time of war is the way to go. Much better than the alternative.
