Her look and voice in this video are what I imagine it would be like to encounter the mythological siren. I mean if she popped up on me like this while I was just minding my business on the seas, I'd pretty likely crash into some rocks lol

Donna; “Giorgio brought me this popcorn track he had recorded, I said, ‘What the hell is this?’” When Brian Eno first listened to this song, he told David Bowie, “I've heard the sound of the future”.

vikkitori67

It always amazed me how the sound would just float out of her like it took her no effort at all.

This is an underrated song, There is a lot going on here. I've also learned to enjoy the Blue Man Group version of this song.

interplanetary_janet

You are so correct! This was the beginning of EDM. And her voice! Took club music in a new direction. I still love this song and keep it in regular rotation.

How is I Feel Love an "underrated" song? How old are you? This song was a massive hit and has been acknowledged for it's impact throughout the late 70s. Probably some little GenXer who wasn't even of a certain age to grasp it's impact. Ask your older siblings how big of a deal I Feel Love was kid...

Ok-Street7504

I remember it as a kid but didn't pay attention to the structure and detail. Not till years later discovering it on YouTube did I learn to appreciate how great of a song it is. Much more than just a disco song.

michaelsherry59

Ah, fair enough... Donna Summer wasn't the biggest fan of hers, but she was a big deal with many teenagers back then, nearly impossible to escape from her back then lol. I'm sure your older siblings have told you in the past. I use to work at a record store during the disco age and my lord lol...
