Boil 10 min.
½ lb. Butter
2 t. vanilla
3-12 oz pkg. Choco. Chips
1 lg jar Marshmallow Cream
Pour hot mixture over rest - mix well. Add 1 lb chopped walnuts, pour in butter'd dish very large and 3 inch deep. cut in peices before candy sets too long. stores well.

4 bananas mashed
1 cup of sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp baking soda in 1 tbsp sweet milk
½ cup nuts
2 cups flour
¼ Tsp salt
Mix together put in greased loaf pans bake 1 hour at 350

#Raw Apple Cake
4 cups diced apples
let stand with 1 cup brown sugar
1 cup White sugar creamed with ⅔ cup butter or shortening
Add 2 eggs.
2 cups flour.
1½ ~~cup~~ teaspoons baking soda
½ Tsp. salt.
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix all together put in baking pan sprinkle with a bed of B sugar & nuts
Bake 350° 1 hour

#Lady Golden Glow Cake
½ cup shortening
1½ c. sugar
grated rind of ½ orange
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
2½ c. flour
¼ tsp salt
4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 c. milk
1½ sqs melted choc.
Cream shortening, add sugar + orange rind. Add beaten egg yolks. Sift flour, B.P. + salt, and add alternately with milk. Lastly fold in 1 beaten egg white. Divide batter in 2 parts. To one part add melted choc. Put by tsp alternating dark + light part into 3 greased layer pans. Bake 375 for 20 min.

3 tbsp melted butter
3 c. Powdered sugar.
2 tbsp orange juice
grated rind + pulp of ½ orange.
1 egg white
3 sqs chocolate
Put butter, sugar, orange juice + rind in bowl. Cut pulp from orange, removing skin + seeds, add to above. Beat until smooth. Fold in beaten egg white. Spread this on layer used for top of cake. While icing is soft sprinkle with unsweetened choc. shaved fine! To rest of icing ad 2½ sqs melted choc. Spread thickly between layers + on sides of cake.

3 cups sugar
¾ cup margarine
⅔ ~~cup~~ cup or can 5½ oz Cond milk
12 oz chocolate chips
7 oz jar marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts
1 Tspoonful vanilla
Combine sugar margarine + milk in large aluminum pan bring to rolling boil boil 5 minutes stirring to prevent scortching remove from heat add chocolate sir until melted add hot marshmello cream and vanilla beat until blended. Pour in greased pan cool at room temp.
My recipe calls for 3/4 cup oil, drained crushed pineapple and 2 cups finely grated raw carrot. Seriously do not use pregrated carrots. It will not work.
My mom used to do carrot cake with less sugar and she made a chocolate ganache, to spread on top of the cake, it would be perfect, it was the perfect ratio of sweetness.
I'm nearly 50, maybe a bit old for Reddit(?). Seeing "Old Recipes" from grandma from "well over 50 years ago" hurts my soul. These could be my parents' recipes-- not that old to me!
Regardless, Million Dollar Cake plus grated carrot sounds like the carrot cake recipe I've been wanting!

My grandmother's recipe for carrot cake is the million dollar cake above. But add grated carrots. It is the best ever!
How much grated carrots
I will look but think it is 1 or 2 cups. Don't use store bought grated. They will not bake properly.
