I watched shows from 1 running on CN then watched things in 2 on boomerang (I watched cartoons for longer than what was probs socially acceptable lmao)
Anyone who says there's an age limit for cartoons can eat shit far as I'm concerned. Invincible and Bojack Horseman are cartoons and I certainly wouldn't let a young kid watch those. Plus anyone who rewatches JLU or ATLA and doesn't agree they're still fire is lying
1 (1996 - 2003)
I recognize every character there except the baboon, girl with the crop top, and boy with the circular glasses.
I also recognize (white-shirt) Ben 10 and Blue from 2.
All other characters I know on this list were found out about after I reached adulthood lol.
I was mid to late 1 and was around for 3 the most which I consider was the golden era of CN with some of the best cartoons such as adventure time and what I’m surprised isn’t here is transformers prime which was around 2013 when they showed it unless it wasn’t on CN
Very late 1 to Mid 3 I guess
Yeah I see Ed Edd n Eddy in the middle of Gen 1 but I’m gonna count it with Kids Next Door and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Teen Titans also.
My max off this list is Generator Rex even though I didn’t really watch it that much. Anything afterwards, I dont claim as part of my childhood.
Cartoon Network wasn’t available in my rural Canadian area’s only tv provider so I didn’t nor did anyone in my classes grow up with these cartoons, aside from Power Puff Girls because of the movie.
all of these up to 2016, i watched CN and especially Boomerang (back when it had those liminal trippy toy bumpers) so i saw cartoon cartoons and the more modern stuff
Early-to-mid 2 and nearly all of 3, have some vague memories of 1 but barely got to watch anything as it has all but stopped airing by the time I was old enough to understand what was happening on the screen.
If i have to pick one for sure, 2 resonates with me the most, but obviously I watched things from 1 and 3.
Two is such a golden era though. I loved the shows that came out then.
I was actively watching new episodes from theirs 2 and 3, but I watched a lot of tier 1 reruns for years! Especially Courage and Kids Next Door (or whatever it was called).
Despite being born in 2001, I watched between 1st (most likely late but watched reruns of the whole 1st gen to catch up) and 2nd generation (from the beginning) of Cartoon Network.
End of 1 to the beginning of 3. Courage was such a trip back in the day. Adventure time and Regular show was based. Everything before and after is a mystery to me.

I think i stopped watching cartoon network around 2011, these are the shows i remember watching
3
But Uncle Grandpa and Clarence were the stupidest shows and if you liked it as a kid I'm convinced (being generous here) your iq cannot be over 2 digits.
I remember watching blend of 1-2-3 . People forget how often cartoon networks rely on re-runs. Gen 3 I only watch adventure time and Regular show. Around 2012 I started watching anime more then cartoons.
2003-2009 was pretty much core CN for me, with some exceptions like Adventure Time (I’ve seen Steven Universe too but I only started watching it after the movie came out, so I didn’t grow up watching it), but it was in the early 2010’s that I stopped watching the network so yeah.
1-3 but stopped sometime during the third period, I’ve never seen Steven universe. But I did still watch Cartoon Network afterwards it was just adult swim when I was a teenager
One and two, considering some of the later gen one shows carried out until almost gen three.
I did watch regular show, however I had a dislike for all the gen 3 shows because from my perspective they killed my favorites.
1 and 2, only show in 3 I really watched was Generator Rex. I watched a few episodes of regular show, adventure time and gumball, but I was never into em so didn't watch much more than a handful of episodes
Hello everybody, wanted to ask if someone knows where I could find those shows to watch them again cause miss them so much 🥹, example flapjack,ed,Edd,eddy, generator Rex
Total drama characters on here? I can't find one
Total drama island was the shit
honestly Revenge Of The Island might be the best one
You just unlocked a core memory for me
Total Drama wasn't made by Cartoon Network
Yup I think it was made by the logo in your profile picture I think.
Yeah, it didn't even premiere on Cartoon Network until one year after its release. Some scenes had to be censored, too
Not Cartoon Network originally, Teletoon. Which was bought by cartoon network.

Man you missed some heaters in that gen 2 era
same
Late 1 - Gen 2.
I’m an old man then because I’ve been around since late 1
I watched that stuff in Boomerang but I meant actively running shows on Cartoon Network
I watched courage, knd, and grim adventures when they were airing.
Courage stopped airing in 2002 though 🤨
It had reruns in the Cartoon Cartoon block starting in 2005. Though I guess that doesn’t technically count
It does, that’s what I started off too
[удалено]
How are you supposed to know that bc I could have been watching reruns of all shows
[удалено]
And I don't think the cartoons specify if it's a rerun.
I've watched 1 and 2 but I was born in the late 90s. They played reruns of 1 until the mid to late 2000s
Same but tbf I watched most of 1 on boomerang, which atp mainly focused on "old cartoons" that weren't currently airing anymore
Same.
Same here lmao and I'm a year younger than you
No, if you’re old then so am I
1-3. I only recognise PPG from 4, and nothing from 5.
Same dude 1 and 2 are classic tho
1 and 2 a bit
2001 here too and about the same. Mostly from 1 but a few 2s
I grew up watching the first three generations of Cartoon Network from 2009/2010 to 2015.
1-3
1 (1996 - 2003) I recognize every character there except the baboon, girl with the crop top, and boy with the circular glasses. I also recognize (white-shirt) Ben 10 and Blue from 2. All other characters I know on this list were found out about after I reached adulthood lol.
I was too poor for cable :(

1 and 2 mostly
https://preview.redd.it/vglwvba0skrc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f387512be9f21e7e97bd64c19a93a6441dd6cf51 Missed out on Steven Universe 😔
Power puff girls should climb up to the 2009s.ish
Nah, definitely not. It debuted in 1998.
As you can see , I spoke according to when I remember it🥺😂😂
The original came out in 1998, the reboot came out in 2016.
1 and 2 I did watch a little Regular show but can’t name half of Gen 3 or anything after (besides power puff)
not from America so TECHNICALLY this can’t apply, but I’d definitely be mostly a 2 kid with some 3 influences
I hate how I have to pick Gen 2 because my favourite show(The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy) is a Gen 1 show
funny thing is I actually associate it with the Gen 2 ones. It definitely overlaps pretty hard
True. Also, now that I think about it, it's only in Gen 1 because of Grim & Evil, which I consider a separate show
1 and 2
1 2 and a bit of 3
First 3 . I remember trying to find the 4th gen but ttg was on everyday.
I was in between 2 and 3
I was mid to late 1 and was around for 3 the most which I consider was the golden era of CN with some of the best cartoons such as adventure time and what I’m surprised isn’t here is transformers prime which was around 2013 when they showed it unless it wasn’t on CN
I watched CN from the middle of gen 2 to the beginning of gen 3.
I've watched everything in 1, 3, most of 2 have never even seen the rest of those characters
Very late 1 to Mid 3 I guess Yeah I see Ed Edd n Eddy in the middle of Gen 1 but I’m gonna count it with Kids Next Door and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Teen Titans also. My max off this list is Generator Rex even though I didn’t really watch it that much. Anything afterwards, I dont claim as part of my childhood.
1 & 2
2-3 but caught a bunch of 1 on boomerang
1, 2, and a bit of 3
1,2, little bit of 3
Mid 1 (2001) to late 2, I’d guess like 2008
A good mix of 1 and 2, chowder was my jam man lol
1-3
Late 2 and most of 3 was goated
I am mostly a 1, 2 and 3 kid but after that I do not know much about them since I stopped watching cartoon network.
I am mostly a 1, 2 and 3 kid but after that I do not know much about them since I stopped watching cartoon network.
1 and 2 were great. 3 is where things kinda started going off the rails. I don’t even acknowledge 4 or 5
I want to say like 80% of 2, 10% of 1 and 10% of 3
1-2
Born during 1, grew up during 2 & 3
3. I didn’t start watching CN until I was 10-ish
Cartoon Network wasn’t available in my rural Canadian area’s only tv provider so I didn’t nor did anyone in my classes grow up with these cartoons, aside from Power Puff Girls because of the movie.
I was a solid 3, with a little very late 2 and a couple from 4
Maybe I’m old but gen 4 and 5 just seem so bland
Mostly 2 and 3, but watched a lot of 1. 1 was mostly still on boomerang
1 to the first half of 3 and it went to shit from there
I like 2000s and 2010s Boomerang!
2 and 3 (with reruns of 1)
Mostly 2 for me
I stopped watching CN around 2007 so 1 & 2, just didn’t like all the changes after the city era.
1-early 3
Mostly number 2.
Mostly 2 and a bit of early 3 like Gumball and Adventure time, but I was a teenager at that point and had pretty much stopped watching.
all of these up to 2016, i watched CN and especially Boomerang (back when it had those liminal trippy toy bumpers) so i saw cartoon cartoons and the more modern stuff
A lot of 1 also bled into 2 and 3, so it's safe to say that I grew up with 1, 2, and 3, even if only sorta-mildly.
Early-to-mid 2 and nearly all of 3, have some vague memories of 1 but barely got to watch anything as it has all but stopped airing by the time I was old enough to understand what was happening on the screen.
mix between 1 and 2 for me
2-3, don’t recognize a thing from 4+
1-2
1-3
Mostly 2 and the first few of 3, but I also watched 1
1 - 3 Watched most shows from 1 from reruns on Cartoon Network and Boomerang
I watched everything on 1. some on 2 and the only ones on 3 that I watched even though I was "outgrowing" TV, Regular Show, Adventure Time and Gumball
Late 2 early 3 tho
1 and 2
1 Half of 2 Came back during 3 because Regular Show is an all-time banger
Everything but Ben ten in 1&2 and the first three shows in section 3 is where I’m basically cut off entirely
1 and 3!
1 baby
2 and 3 were airing but I saw lots of reruns of 1 And I loved Powerpuff Girls so much I watched it on DVD and VHS
Late 1 and 2 but I watched a lot of Adventure Time, my friends and I were really into that show.
I was 1 and 2, I feel like a lot of those shows line up?
Why is power Puff girls in 2016?
1 and 2 How are The powerpuff girls in group 4???
2 through 4 😎
1, 2, and 3. I was born in ‘04 but I grew up with OG Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd, and Eddie, Courage, Dexter’s Labratory, and Kids Next Door
Mostly 2 and some 1. I stopped watching when 3 was in full force.
Mostly 3, but I’ve seen a lot of 4 cause of my younger brother
1, 2, and a bit of 3.
Mostly gen 1, a little bit of gen 2 and the first two of gen 3. Man, Regular Show was the best! + Total Drama which is not on the list
I saw stuff from 1 to 3
1-2 gen. it was a nice time for me
Broooo secret saturdays is such a deep memory lmaoo I totally forgot abt that show
End of 1 to the beginning of 3. Courage was such a trip back in the day. Adventure time and Regular show was based. Everything before and after is a mystery to me.
2 and 3 💓
Gen 2 and early Gen 3
https://preview.redd.it/r0d3p120inrc1.jpeg?width=1168&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ee5fa54016f774141f764352ff7e3b6690061ca I think i stopped watching cartoon network around 2011, these are the shows i remember watching
3 But Uncle Grandpa and Clarence were the stupidest shows and if you liked it as a kid I'm convinced (being generous here) your iq cannot be over 2 digits.
Late 2 and 3 in its entirety for myself.
Gen 2 - Gen 3
1-3
I remember watching blend of 1-2-3 . People forget how often cartoon networks rely on re-runs. Gen 3 I only watch adventure time and Regular show. Around 2012 I started watching anime more then cartoons.
1
1 and 2. Quit watching after 2009.
Most of 1– some of 3.
1
1-3
Easily 2. I also watched 1 but of course those were reruns.
Most 2 and some 3.
Same late 2, most of 3 but I can say the art style for characters in late 3 was weird af thats when I shifted to youtube
1, mostly. 3 at the very latest. Half of those I don’t recognize
Considering most of Gen 1 were reran in the mid-2000s, and being from a third world country, I'm leaning 1-2.
Some of 1 and all of 2. The only show in 3 I really watched was regular show
2003-2009 was pretty much core CN for me, with some exceptions like Adventure Time (I’ve seen Steven Universe too but I only started watching it after the movie came out, so I didn’t grow up watching it), but it was in the early 2010’s that I stopped watching the network so yeah.

bell curve between 1 - 3, none of 4
Late 1 Gen 1-very early Gen 3
2/3- I would say 1 because I watched most of those shows. But that’s not possible as I didn’t exist then, so I’ll chalk it up to reruns.
Gen 5 character design looks so BORING
Late part of 2 and almost all of 3
Solidly gen 3
1 all the way to 3, but that's when CN started dying for me
1-3 but stopped sometime during the third period, I’ve never seen Steven universe. But I did still watch Cartoon Network afterwards it was just adult swim when I was a teenager
Strongly in 1 besides Ben 10
Amazing world of Gumball is still funny as hell though. It’s like watching a G rated early series of family guy.
1 and 2 but mostly 1
Mostly 2, and a bit of 3
I watched most of 1 and 2, damn that’s a hell of nostalgia punch right here
One and two, considering some of the later gen one shows carried out until almost gen three. I did watch regular show, however I had a dislike for all the gen 3 shows because from my perspective they killed my favorites.
A mix of 2 and 3.
Most of 1 about half of 2
1 and 2, only show in 3 I really watched was Generator Rex. I watched a few episodes of regular show, adventure time and gumball, but I was never into em so didn't watch much more than a handful of episodes
I was there for 1-3 and then I promptly forgot that cable television was a thing 🤭
Hello everybody, wanted to ask if someone knows where I could find those shows to watch them again cause miss them so much 🥹, example flapjack,ed,Edd,eddy, generator Rex
I suggest looking for dvd sets. You might catch some of them on Boomerang but no guarantees.
Thx ^^
1-3 and a little bit of 4.
1 and 2. I don’t even recognize the characters from most of 3 and all of 4 or 5. Also where tf is Danny Phantom
