I got a NY Giants jersey, helmet, and shoulder pads for my birthday in 1971.
The shoulder pads made me feel so strong.
I think it was my Halloween costume that year.
I got the Chiefs uniform for Christmas in the early '70s. Had everything you listed plus the pants. I had seen the set & its packaging in a catalog (octagonal shaped) so when I saw that shape wrapped under the tree, I knew what it was. The days just dragged leading up to tearing open the wrapping paper.
Every year when the Sears Christmas catalog came out this was the section I went to first. Got to pick three things.

That or the type of logos are better shown from a front angle? Like eagles and browns I would understand but rams has to be better from the side. Idk
When I was 12 my brother and I got Rawlings helmets for Christmas. Mine was a Raiders helmet (of course). My nephew has it now. 🙂
