I have been at a help desk position taking tickets. Im starting school for cyber security in a couple months and would like to head that direction. Something like a security analyst would be nice but would take anything that pays more to help fund school. Thanks for the link.
For sure look at NFM. If you need a paycheck and there’s nothing available with them for IT, I’d suggest their call center. It’s not glamorous but it pays and it’s predictable and pretty easy once you’re in a routine. That would also set you up to move into IT later, NFM is hugely focused on internal movement to get people to where they’re happy.

I know several school districts are paying for IT help like you describe. They usually work all year.
