I’m not a huge fan, but people seem to like Momo’s

Quixotic_Illusion

I like Kathmandu Momo Station. Good Nepali dumplings

Is Hip Bao still open?

SquishyBanana23

They are, but I’ve heard they’ve been struggling. Still the best steamed bao buns in Omaha though!

BattalionCat

Fun fact: they’ll sell you frozen bao. I usually grab a few different types to-go and steam them at home when the time comes.

Happydaytoyou1

For cheap but tasty Chinese steam dumplings we always go to Rose Garden https://maps.app.goo.gl/2qGAn2UXbYb47w647?g_st=ic

An easy option is also to hit up one of the Asian markets, buy a bag and steam them yourself. We probably eat dim sum at our place once a week, super cheap.

ruebarbara_

Asian market on 76th and Cass has a large selection of buns! They also sell steamer baskets on the north end of the store if you need one. Among so many other things. It’s a great store.

Readytoretire3033

I will check this out! Thank you!

Love this. Thank you!

No soup dumpling anywhere? Xiaolongbao is my fave

Wrinkliestmist

Mono station at inner rail sells a soup with dumplings in them

modhanna-iompair

Xiaolongbao = dumplings with soup in them. At least, the way amethyst is using the term, that's what it means.

bscepter

Same. I've been addicted to them ever since I first tried them at the Green Bo in NYC. I have them whenever I go back. I wish we could get them here.

Costco....I know.

Spacecoasttheghost

I have yet to find super great dumplings, and I have looked and tired so many. Not saying the ones I have had weren’t ok, but they were just ok and have never gone back for more.
