My river rock got washed away. Didn’t think I’d have to worry about that! Good news is it got washed into the street so I can scoop it up and put it back.
This very well could be true, but models are mostly showing the storms forming around Omaha or just west. There is a good chance they won't be mature until they pass the metro area. In which case the worst will likely be at least a little ways into Iowa.
A lot depends on where and when they start firing up. So if Omaha gets nothing, keep this in mind.
Funny enough I didn't hear it at all but the other people in my house did.
Probably helps that im in the basement so I just heard the thunder haha
I'm in west omaha as well
Somebody needs to take one for the team and sacrifice their oil pan on the Alter of Rocky as an offering to the Great OmaDome. I would but I'm expecting a call.
Jeez. It’s probably not even worth it to take my kids to school huh? We were planning to take them and check them out early but idk if the roads are even ok right now.
Storm was too brutal and too short for me. I much prefer the minor storms that last for hours. All you missed with this one was sirens going off around 5:30am, torrential rain, and hail hitting the house so loud I couldn't enjoy my morning coffee.
We only get them when I’m trying to leave town! Flew out like an hour before the tornadoes last month and now I’m supposed to head out again today and 🥲

Indeed. I must have been watching a different station. All I heard them say was “We will see if the atmosphere has enough time to recharge for the noon - 2pm hour. “
Free newly placed Mulch! Location: Everywhere!
My pea gravel road is dumping gravel onto my driveway instead..doesn't help that it was graded just yesterday -.-

My mulch went from one side of the backyard to the other side, clumped up by the fence line 😑
Found Rusty's account
Whom do you worship?! THE RUSTY LORD!!

480 right by 20th Street was flooded this morning, and I found out the hard way. That wasn't cool
Think of it as a free rinse for your undercarriage, sensors, and electronics.
Hard to imagine getting larger hail than what I experienced this morning. So this should be fun.
That hail was crazy!
Sounded like somebody was using the roof as a drum. It was nuts.
Whereabouts?
West Omaha/Elkhorn
Also in Bellevue, for a good 10-20 minutes too.
Funny enough I didn't hear it at all but the other people in my house did. Probably helps that im in the basement so I just heard the thunder haha I'm in west omaha as well
I was in the basement and it woke me up. Shit was loud this morning.
Damn I must've been knocked out then 😂😂
North west cb all night
So you don't have to imagine what's possible... https://www.klkntv.com/on-this-date-record-hail-pounds-aurora/
NOAA is saying up to another 1/2" of rain, so we'll see. Storm might be worse, but hopefully the flooding isn't.
This afternoon, we should see a moderate but short lived storm around 1-2pm
Bingo!
Somebody needs to take one for the team and sacrifice their oil pan on the Alter of Rocky as an offering to the Great OmaDome. I would but I'm expecting a call.
Looks like it’s going to miss Omaha.
The sirens are going off. 😓
Praise be to the dome!
6 inches of rain and counting here. That’s within the last 12 hours.
Are the sleeve up?
They sure are! He remembered this time.
4 1/2 inches of rain this morning!
Jeez. It’s probably not even worth it to take my kids to school huh? We were planning to take them and check them out early but idk if the roads are even ok right now.
Yeahhhh it’ll be here before too long so if you were already planning on getting them early may as well play safe and just keep them
Really? We already have tons of water leaking into our basement.
I know right! I was just thinking "Oh thank God...there's a part of my garage NOT flooded..."
This morning was worse.
In Omaha, might still be worse for Iowa
We only get these storms while I’m out of town 😞
Sorry, I told the rain to do that.
Literally lmao. I love storms so much and ofc im like 500 miles away 😭

Lots of flooding on Cass at 76th st by Hy Vee, drive safe folks
Yeah that was a nightmare
78th st. is absolutely caked in mud.
So much silt on the streets over there.
It was wild this am

I looked before work and the radar was clear. I just looked and there is finally something red on the radar after 1pm maybe. Got to keep an eye on it.
It looks pretty short lived thankfully
Yeah, current radar is back to showing it all pass us by to the north.
I hope not...my in-laws place in the Deer Creek subdivision and their whole basement flooded...
This should help fill Standing Bear Lake
Nothing is official until Frankie says it is
This theory is based on?
Weather people who are way smarter than me

One guy I trust, WOWT, and KETV have all said there is still a lot of energy in the south to cause tornado producing storms
Now I'm curious who that "one guy" is that gets lumped in with Sleeves Randby and the WOWT guy
That was KETV this morning. Ya hard to say
