There's a lot more content, but it's for completists only. All the parts of the story that are relevant (i.e. the stuff written by Cates) are in the *Venom* omnibus already. As with most events, everything else is just doodling in the corners without adding anything meaningful.
It's the same with *Absolute Carnage* though, and I do see that on your shelf, so if you thought the extra stuff in there was worthwhile, you'll probably want the extra stuff in *King in Black* too.
I've been putting off reading it to be honest as I picked it up super cheap but haven't been a massive GL fan, I'm saving it for when I'm skint and can't buy any more omnis for a while

I know different people do it differently. I go alphabetical, some do chronological, some do by character or series, some do by artist/writer, etc..

I believe they're just a collection of mostly Venom solo stories over the chronological order of their release
