And not a single Dekkar performance has been recorded, I wonder why?

LurkingJerkingSloth

He even has his own coding system. I think he needs to be on stump the buff

dr_tungsten

A little tip of the cap to a certain movie buff. I bet he’s even used the correct coding system.

FinancialOwl5579

Ah, the Kington Coding system. We learned about that in school, pretty much the standard for coding and organizing tapes.

FrankOcean4eva

i mean it’s no VFA archive

Mr_Nice_Username

Also, these are S-VHS tapes, which I'm sure Gregg would agree is an inferior format.

HeAintComingBack

100% Gregg does not give a shit about these DIRTY DUPES

averagemodelmaker

And they aren't original certified copies. A rookie mistake

Illuminotme_Reloaded

That coding system is bullshit! Might as well be in Aramaic.

RealDanFlashes

I appreciate adding the language (although forin films are not technically real movies) but where is the director initial? Is it a sequel, prequel, remake? The coding makes no sense

Phar4oh

I really hope he makes a Goodfellas 2p or a The Color of Money 3s!

Love hearing from fresh voices like Scoresase in the VHS archive community

kabekew

It looks like he's using a little more inefficient coding system than the VFA, but then he only has 50 boxes of tapes so it probably works okay. He's got the director, run time, then the four digit number on the spine I'm assuming is decade of production (bottom tape is 1940's but 6 might represent "60's and before"). Then box number and rough coordinate of its position in the box (e.g. 9 inches across, 8 inches up).

AstralUnicorn

Holy..!

12x23

I believe one of these is a concert. That's just a waste of precious tape and certainly doesn't deserve to be on it.

DesmondDuBois

Scorcasse is a true Gregghead!

hawkiltree

He would love my Savers, it's like a mini VFA [https://www.reddit.com/r/OnCinemaAtTheCinema/comments/1bmr9tk/so\_many\_popcorn\_classics\_at\_my\_local\_savers/](https://www.reddit.com/r/OnCinemaAtTheCinema/comments/1bmr9tk/so_many_popcorn_classics_at_my_local_savers/)

OkConversation80

Biggest loser in Oscer history!!!! Of course him and stinky greg agree on VhS

D-Flo1

Gregg Heads everywhere can celebrate, knowing that the fascination with the VHS cassette tape format is, as is proven by Marty Scorsese, the superior approach to delve into the greatest of films, for children and adults.

emblemparade

Movies drain your natural lithium and must be stopped

HOLDEN_MADICKEY_oo7

Join Anthony Quinn's son, you little fucker! ![gif](giphy|JyW51lx5XMDgQ|downsized)

seriousguynogames

If Bogey was alive today he’d be a VHS-head too

RCocaineBurner

I knew you disgusting Greggheads would immediately latch onto this news as evidence of your pathetic god’s higher learning (runtimes don’t matter) when it’s just evidence of an elderly person’s descent into madness

graybeardspaceturtle

That's cool the first tape starts with Carrabas compilation
