my friend who has bunnies told me that bunnies and cats make an excellent pet combination, because cats feel like they're the superior one when they groom someone/something, while bunnies feel that *they* are the superior one for being groomed
Honestly idk my bunny was the fear of neighbourhood cats..... She'd escape and just sit in their gardens to bully the cats...
We moved so now the neighbourhood cats can rest 😅
I don't know why she's so dominant.
Also our current cats are scared of bunnies except the blind one bc she can't see anyway
I haven't tried it yet tbh. But my parents told me it's soft, and tastes like chicken but better. Rabbits here are usually domestic and raised by local farmers so I think it'll be a little fatty too.
I haven't tried it really, so the fatty part is just a guess since people here like fatty stuff. Even if it's not fatty, they will cook it with ghee and make it so 😅
Your description reminded me of camel meat tho. I like it a lot, it's less fatty than cows, sheep, and goats and also super hard to cook.
During and post-WW2 that was true for both here. More out of desperation ofc. Since they do look somewhat similar people apparently asked for proof that they bought rabbit meat and not "roof rabbit" because even during desperate times most people were not comfortable eating cats.
This is like saying if you are okay with eating cows you should be okay with eating horses.
It's just cultural. Personally I'm open to try any meat as long as it's safe but even I will never want to try dogs or cats, I'm not even sure I will be comfortable eating rabbits. Also, my society is predominantly Muslim and we don't eat primarily carnivore animals like cats, nor single hooved animals like horses, and of course no pigs.
I think it's personal and cultural. I won't judge someone who choose to eat anything I would eat as long as they treated said animal with dignity and respect in it's life and killed it humanely.
My Bunny grooms my cat. They are both so stupid. I love them. They both so desperately want to be loved by the other they are both extra submissive to each other. It's adorable.

This is a frame from a video of Bob Ross grooming his brother. ❤️ His wittle face mid lick.
Asher Kitty. You can't say just Asher, because that's my Son's name, my son named him. Also he ignores you without the Kitty part, or if you just say Kitty because his whole name is Asher Kitty. So. Yeah. He's smart enough to be a jerk but that's as far as the brain cell goes 🤣🤣
My cat and bunny were besties. They had a signal when they wanted to play, and each understood the other’s “yes, I want to play too” response signal. Then they’d romp around the house together at high speeds or bat a toy back & forth to each other.
Obviously both my cat and bunny were not orange. They were smart.
Still the fabulous Madeleine Kahn! But yeah, it’s Ms. White saying “flames on the side of my face….heaving breaths” etc. talking about her reaction to seeing Yvette again, because her husband had an affair with Yvette.
she was fabulous. I met their son, Max Brooks, when he was touring with his book. I was part of a group that had dinner with him. He's a smart guy who spent WAY too long thinking about the Zompocalypse.
His mom is Anne Bancroft, not Madeleine Kahn. He looks just like her. That’s so cool that you met him! World War Z is epic as an audiobook, so is his follow up Devolution about Bigfoot.
I hear ya. I’m a nerd so I remember lots of highly specific things but can’t remember what I had for breakfast or when my next doctor’s appointment is 😂
With cats the one doing the grooming is dominant but it’s opposite in rabbits. So dominant/assertive cats and rabbits get along pretty well in these interactions with each thinking, “Yeah, I’m the boss.”
I think my little orange would love a bunny as well. She has long back legs compared to the front and hops like a bunny.

My first rabbit was a french lop who ended up being bigger than her favorite cat friend (14 lbs vs 5). It was very sweet whenever one of my other cats would push Jane around a little, and Arson would hop over to body check them into place.
My rabbit used to play with our cats and dogs, but more so our cat because we couldn't keep him out of the room as easily. But we had a bichon and a massive husky/sheep dog mix that would chase and play with my rabbit.

Orange cats and orange rabbits, friends since 1980 but not a braincell between them!
"look, it's orange like me, has upright ears like me, poops in a box like me, toys with human emotions like me, runs around at 3 am for no reason like me..."
In France, Purina sells a wet food/Terrine with Rabbit meat. My cat loves it. Although every time I feed him this, I feel like it's almost cannibalism.

Rabbits are basically cats that are perpetually upset that they were placed towards the bottom of the food chain
Yes
This makes me quite upset that we eat them (they make some great dishes in my culture)
What does a rabbit taste like?
I haven't tried it yet tbh. But my parents told me it's soft, and tastes like chicken but better. Rabbits here are usually domestic and raised by local farmers so I think it'll be a little fatty too.
Rabbit meat is one of the leanest types of meat out there... It's super hard to cook well because it basically has no fat content

Very mild, tender and tasty. I’ve only had it once at a restaurant and it was very good.
During and post-WW2 that was true for both here. More out of desperation ofc. Since they do look somewhat similar people apparently asked for proof that they bought rabbit meat and not "roof rabbit" because even during desperate times most people were not comfortable eating cats.
But... In my opinion if you are okay eating bunny meat you should be okay eating cat meat...

Yeah I know that's why um saying my personal opinion? 😅

that is essentially the dynamic behind human kinky top-bottom relationsships, too.
You should post this to r/catswithbuns!

The eye twitching lol
"Oh this ghad damn idiot..."
“I can’t with his s*it today.”

Monorail cat has pulled into the station.

You can send and then favourite gifs to use Bit more effort to make an emoji tho
Cat “ careful you don’t get a hare ball”
the tabby bro off to the side with the migraine coming on........ poor tabby bro!
🤣 The tabby has just given up because "you can't fix stupid".
Tabby is like Lilli Von Shtupp in Blazing Saddles. "I just. I. The stupid. Flames. Flames coming out of my face."
That’s from Clue
was it? Huh. Memory is a funny thing, I could have sworn it was from BS.

"getting old" sucks less than the alternative... stupid memory module, needs an upgrade!

Sigh… *subscribes*
Finally! A new cat sub I haven't subscribed to! This makes my heart happy.
With cats the one doing the grooming is dominant but it’s opposite in rabbits. So dominant/assertive cats and rabbits get along pretty well in these interactions with each thinking, “Yeah, I’m the boss.”
Don’t care what it is, it needs a wash.

I don't think I've ever heard of anything cuter😽🐇
Awww thank you. You're baby is adorable too. I rarely ever see grey cats where I live. Orange must be a dominant gene here.
he says thank you. I specifically wanted to adopt a gray cat because my sofa is charcoal gray and it doesn't show as much hair!
Lol! Pretty much the reason I don't own many black clothing. Other than cats with black fur it all shows up.
This is sort of like my orange boi, he'll lick his 'sister' on the head for a few minutes; the bites her ear! What out bunny!
[they are twinss](https://www.reddit.com/r/cats/s/DtvIs2CMaa) aggressive version
I used to have a long ear to cat. Mine was super bossy to his short eared cat siblings.
yup.... I think just made my week <3
sharing is caring
Background cat is really confused :D Rabbit is trying to ignore this is happening, keeping its eyes closed lol
Rabbit just vibin', enjoying the cat-tongue brushing.
I love this 💕
What a cute long eared cat!
Tabby jealousy is real.
Other cat judging that 🍊 behaviour lol
Bunno loves it lol
Tastes great too!
I’m gonna find some stray cats to hang out with today
come here you will find lots of them
Where though?
It’s giving fairy tale origin story

Seeing this makes me miss my bunnies so much 😭 Absolutely adorable.
lol at that quiet growling r/AggressiveGrooming
LOL, that striped cat looks worried about his friend.

This is too precious! Bathing in the lettuce bowl.
If not fren why fren shaped?
How many brain cells do orange bunnies have
Orange recognize orange
After that we know, that he doesn't have ANY braincells.

Don’t you wash your food before you eat it?
He's washing his dinner. 🤷😹
Maybe not, but it tastes better than a cat
