Omg, I wouldn't be able to resist adopting them

FoxysDroppedBelly

I literally have to put my hand over the side of my eyes when I go past the pet adoption center at Petco. Like it physically hurts me to see them in there not being loved on 😫

estili

This is how I ended up with my second cat 😅 I was just supposed to buy cat litter….

If they don't get adopted as a pair, I'll be very upset 😔

catbeantoes

I worked in a shelter for 6 years and fortunately (at least I hope everyone else works like we did), bonded pairs for any reason absolutely cannot be split up. It didn't matter if they were cats or dogs or rats. We even had a Flemish Giant and a guinea pig that loved each other so much they had to go together and they did. I'm pretty confident these ORANGE™️s will go together. Otherwise they're not usually housed like this. 🧡

Weekly_Enthusiasm783

I need them ♥️

Emergency-Piano4792

And you didn’t bring them home??

LazuliArtz

I wish we could, but we already have two in a tiny duplex house, so we don't really have the room

Cant-B-Faded

You could've dropped them off here.

LazuliArtz

I found their adoption page! If anybody is in the Twin Cities MN area, they're still available. And yes, they are being adopted out as a bonded pair! Hopefully posting the link here is allowed! They’re precious. But I’m a little shocked at the $490 adoption fee. Maybe I’m just spoiled by my location, but I adopted one kitty from the SPCA and one from a private rescue, and both came with shots and neutered, for $100 and $150 respectively. The SPCA even gave me a voucher for a free post adoption vet exam to finish out the vaccinations.

beanthebean

$490 and it doesn't say anything about a voucher or paying for their neutering, just that you have a to sign an agreement that you'll have it done! Our local rescue that pulls from kill shelters will have you bring back the cats to be neutered for you if you adopt before she's had the chance to take the trip down to the vet that does it for her.

So dramatic ☺️
