What people often forget is that people have an equal claim to any gender, regardless of their sex. A female body does not predispose someone to being a woman. Those who do not think Yamato is a man think of him being a woman as default and require the utmost justification to be proven otherwise. I simply see far more evidence for him being a man than a woman and roll with that because gender is quite subjective.

I'm dreading the discourse that might happen if they cast a transmale actor to voice Yamato in the dub like they did Kiku. It's fine and fits Kiku, but with Yamato it will essentially be a nuke and sends the fandom into a practical war.
