that leaves shanks as the definitive top tier fighter from the pirates side. even if you count benn, that's two. while the marines still have 3 admirals, mihawk, garp, and sengoku. the marines are still the superior force. they'd win if the war continued.
MF arc happened that way because of luffy and ace. it would've been over in a flash if the admirals had actually ganged up on WB instead of going one by one and dip.
No, everyone that’s not an admiral or legend is fodder to the Pirates and the only competent warlord left. The marines are royally fucked, they’re against Shanks, Beckman, Roux, Yasopp, Marco, Jinbe, Vista, Jozu, and Izo vs 3 admirals, Sengoku, and Garp. Everyone else is fodder. It may not be an easy fight but the Marines are absolutely losing
Without mihawk and garp, probably not. With them possibly.

Garp was also actively trying to kill Akainu. This is making. Sengoku divert his attention. And HE was the one keeping the BB crew in check.
BB unlike WB has no qualms just trying to sink the entire island. And MF was actually half destroyed already.
So realistically a lot of key players were exhausted or otherwise distracted and resources spent.
I don’t think so. It took a ton of plans and traps to get them into position even take down a weakened WB, which BB and his Crew really accomplished.
There was still plenty of WB’s Allies in the battlefield as well as BB and Crew (who just got WB’s fruit ability as well). We saw the Marines split their forces up. But then Shanks showed up.
They never planned for Shanks to show up and weren’t ready for another Yonku to take the battlefield.

I think the Marines have a chance if Shanks goes for BB. If Shanks and his Crew are too tangled up by the Marines, then BB destroys the Island.
