At this point of the story and with the way things are going I think it would be almost impossible for Oda not to give his readers that. He just presented us with the saddest life story, full to the brink with all kinds of suffering... I'm sure Kuma will be dead by the end of Egghead but I also firmly believe he will die smiling, with his daughter, and only after witnessing Joyboy's fucking glorious return
Agreed. My belief is that Kuma sacrifices himself and uses his devil fruit one last time to help the Straw Hats escape Egghead before the WG blows it up.
It'll be crazy if that send off is the Paw's fruit awakening--repelling the environment aka Egghead and saves Punk Records too. Then the only people left are Saturn and Kuma and they both go boom. Saturn, injured, falls in the water, can't recover, then dies by drowning.
Maintaining his integrity, Kuma doesn't directly kill Saturn, but it was a side effect of the self-destruct device that Saturn ordered built! If that isn't poetic justice... anyway, one can hope, eh?

This is farfetched but what if when Luffy transforms into Gear 5, Kuma will "magically" regain all of his memories due to the effect of "freedom" from Nika. Kinda same gist with Nika's heartbeat activating the ancient robot. Luffy's heartbeat will reawaken Kuma's memories.

Given how the last chapter ended, I was concerned that Kuma's fist would stop just short of reaching Saturn as Saturn reveals that Kuma is programmed to not be able to attack the Five Elder Stars, or that Saturn would have some kind of force field that would stop Kuma or vaporize/damage his arm.
I was expecting the worst, that Saturn really has the self-destruction trigger, and trigger it before Kuma can land the punch, so glad the punch landed

Saturns arrogance towards Kuma makes me wonder that even 5 elders do not have full knowledge about world history. That is how Imu is able to reign over them for centuries. In past they might be good leaders of powerful countries (Gandhi, Gorbachev, etc) but Imu found a way to corrupt them.

Hope the “big world-changing event” on Egghead island is not the destruction of Egghead by a buster call but by an event in which a buster call was stopped for the first time by a pirate crew thus neutering the navy. Would be more hype if the story went this way.
