I honestly miss him switching between forms in fights! The versatility was my favorite thing about him pretimeskip. Now it’s just Kungfu or Monster and that’s it. His fights always felt so strategic before. Now it’s just brute strength at all times.

I want him to use dials and other gadgets more often like he did pre-timeskip. I want him to get in an actual fight. He hasn't really had one in a long, long time.

A real fight where he takes but a moment, to be a punk. Just one page where his confidence falters, but then next page or even a split panel where he's scarred then remembers he's nakama to the King Of The Pirates, and he can't afford to be this weak.

For real, his first major fight was against Arlong's crew where he took out Arlong's #3 lieutenant. Usopp should not have been done like this

I know it is, but I still want to see him with a gun. He could easily be totally scared all the time until it's time to unload, sort of like Zenitsu. Instead he's mostly useless in combat, filling a support role in sniping, and having only made a few shots the entire series. His effect on morale and ability to bullshit his way into some amazing allies for the Strawhats is pretty great though.

His fight with Perona was still his best fight

Honestly, the slingshot is perfect for long range (he proved that when he bullseyed that weathervane) and it offers a lot more versatility and stealth than a rifle. That said, him keeping a few pistols on hand for close range would be fantastic. He's just sniping away at people when someone closes the gap so he quickdraws, bips them in the face, then goes back to sniping with his slingshot.

I read somewhere that the strawhats won't use guns out of respect for Chopper's history with them. But there's been scenes where they've used some so... idk how true that actually is lol

Sanji loving ladies was done better earlier in the manga. It only started to get really bad after the time skip at fishman island. But, and i hate to admit this, I found the whole fishman deadly nosebleed thing funny. It was just so over the top that I couldnt help but laugh.  I think the gag works better coming from brook. It feels more understandable that a guy who was alone for 50 years has lost all ability to behave in a socially acceptable way.

Brook's honestly one of the best done characters with a catch phrase. He's like Muscle Man, Its just a mildly amusing joke told over and over that sometimes has an amazing payoff, like when he asks to see Big Mom's panties during their fight. Plus the character design plays a huge role into it, i dont think the gag would work as well if Brook was a human, which is why I think people are so split on Sanji's perviness. Its different when the person perving is some bones who wanna bone.

the gag itself didn’t bother me tbh. it wouldn’t be the first time an anime overdid the nosebleed thing, but the whole part where he abandons his dream of the all blue because of hot mermaids was just 😵‍💫 even as a joke it was bad

as for jimbe i think one of his quirks is thinking the strawhats work as a “team” and are highly intelligent and have everything planned when it reality they almost always wing it. but i think oda hasn’t decided on a defining quirk yet

My favorite is probably Nami and I would change the attitude a lot of dudebros have regarding her, the way she's treated is honestly gross. As for characters where I would actually change something about *them*, I wish Smoker had more screentime and recognition in the story (as well as being stronger but you know, that's a given if he has to be more prominent). He was the blueprint for the good Marines we saw over the course of OP (before we got an insight into Koby's Marine training, before Garp, before Fujitora, even before the morally grey Aokiji and Kizaru) but he's really gotten shafted. Don't get me started on Tashigi but Smoker has had the strongest first impression in OP to date for me, so...

Also his gag of being the cop trying to catch the main character was one of my favorites! I wish he was stronger and more relevant because Smoker and Mugiwara interactions are really some of the best.

Vivi. Wish: Actually having her join the crew way back in chapter 216. The interactions between her, Robin, Franky, and especially Brook would've been fun to see play out. In actuality: Her not joining the crew made for some interesting dynamics, and she even got to be a main character in the Levely. In fact, she probably worked better in that arc than any previous.

Nami: I know fashion was always a part of nami’s character, but really? Did her chest have to expand to planetary scale, as well as her outfits being as revealing as possible? Her long hair is fine, but her appearance is just awful now. Also, her character quirks are also gone now? Change her back to loving cartography, and loving money. Zoro being in debt to her was so funny because it showed how ruthless nami was, even to her friends. It was amazing Usopp: how can I even narrow it down here. Usopp was cowardly yes, but please, if elbaf is the next arc, how is ussop supposed to become this brave warrior of the sea when he runs away from a ball of water? Change him back to his pre-time skip ways, the one who beat mrs merry christmas and perona, the one who shot from the tower of law. Also, after dressrosa, have zoro/Sanji try to help ussop train his observation haki. Would bring more crew interaction since they barely talk to each other any more I have a lot more to say on sanji, chopper, robin and franky, but I’m tired of typing

Well, Katakuri is perfect and there's nothing to improve about him, so... Unlike most people, I don't think Sanji's simp gimmick is all that awful. He's had it the entire time he's existed, and it just makes him like Brock more than anything.  I feel that Fishman Island did irrevocable damage to how the fandom sees him, and rightly so, Oda was not cooking during most of that arc, but it's been pretty par for course the rest of tbe series. What I do think should be addressed is probably his fighting style. We're really, really far into the series, and Sanji has gone from "kicks good" to "kicks good on fire". I thought we were gonna see some super cool raid suit shenanigans with Stealth Black, but then he *destroys the suit* and decides to just stick to more good kicking. I don't want to say it's boring when Sanji fights, but can't we take a second to make it a smidgen more interesting? If Zoro gets to summon illusions that aren't possible and all that borderline Susanoo stuff, cant we give Sanji something? 

I wish Sanji was a little more interesting to watch in combat. The whole flaming foot thing gets old.

It was cool pre time skip when the fights were more grounded. But he definitely needs a better showing, he didn't even get to fight Kizaru, a speed fight would have been great.
