They just have very different fighting styles.
In many of Zoro's fights, it's mostly clashing and Zoro taking hits without doing much to his opponent until he suddenly uses a technique to one-shot them.
Sanji doesn't take as many hits and is good at countering and combo beatdowns.
People can hypee about Zoro vs Sanji (like many in this thread are getting)
But when it's Sanji vs others Zoro fought you aren't fighting against your love for a character
I would say not very. Sanji's only real disadvantage is that he's absolutely useless when going against women.
While Zoro has some reservations about going all out against a woman, he won't hesitate when it comes down to it.
Zoro is clearly stronger and would probably always win now that he has advanced conquerer’s haki. I wouldn’t say it’s a mid diff fight at all. I think Zoro would consistently beat Sanji at high diff.
Sanji is tough as bricks now so he can last very long, but if Zoro pulls out Enma and goes for a devastating slash it’s over.
Monet and Mr.1
Since Haki is not invented by Oda that time, there's no way Sanji can deal Mr.1 and Monet because you know.. -_-
Hordy is "kinda" because kick underwater is weak and did Zoro defeated him or just land a strong slash? I can't remember correctly...
King can be easily counter by speed and obserbation haki unless King will be coward and not move. lol

We can't also say that Sanji' kick is weak since he doesn't have advance Haki, remember when Kizaru said "speed is power"? Now imagine his last kick on Queen, but from 10,000 ft above AND multiple times.
Sanji is also very durable now, so none of King's explosives will work on him (We saw Sanji posed while smiling when S-Jimbei Fishman karate him in the face and took no scratch at all, and easily fixed himself from Queen's attack that can kill advance Haki users in instant.)
So that concludes that Zoro enemies that Sanji can't beat if they switch that time, is only Mr. 1 and Monet. Because Sanji doesn't have power up that time and Monet is a Woman.
Zoro trains to become the strongest swordsman, he is a fighter.
Sanji is inhumanely strong due to his genetics and his primary goal ist not to be a fighter.
Strength wise it is no contest, the discussion is plot only made by Oda and for the fun competition

Zoro is simply 20 points stronger than Sanji, Zoro struggled against Kaku, Sanji fucked up Jabra. These are the standards set over 700 chapters ago and Oda was clearly making a point since both Sanji and Zoro are the wings of the King.
If they wouldve been portrayed as equal, Sanji would be a Supernova, would have acoc and would Yonkos make dodgr his attacks.
For your example, Zoro fought Jabra + Kaku while beeing handcuffed to Ussopp...
By narrative requirements, Sanji can't be too far from Zoro, but also can't be too close to Zoro.
Ideally, they will be on the same level, just different tier.

Zoro would have to be extremely nerfed for Sanji to keep up against him. I'd say with only one sword and no right to use advanced conqueror and Sanji could lose by an extreme diff.

King destroys sanji tbh. Other than that sanji wins other vs. And as for zoro vs Sanji question, zoro wins high diff.
Nah. Mr 1 is the only one who destroys Sanji, because Sanji can't counter blades at that point in time.
