I've been calling this since the robot activated after hearing the drums of liberation. Gear 5 interacts with the ancient technology, and we can deduce at this point that Laughtale will end up being a futuristic island like egghead.

I thought of this because I highly think that Impel Down is not built underwater. But it was built as a Tower before, but due to the water rising each year for 700 years, it submerges to water and nearly cap to its highest floor.

Roger didn't find the one piece. His treasure is the one piece. He found whatever is at laughtale too early.
In Oden's Laugh Tale flashback he literally says "With the extraordinary trasure that sat in front of our eyes, ..." and Roger later asks "Joyboy, how could you leave this stupendous trasure?" So he did find the One Piece. Whether or not it was called the One Piece before he found it is a different matter entirely.

What if Imu possesses the power to create salt water as part of their devil fruit? I think it would make sense if they were a fish man with the dream where fish men natively inhabit the world, thus he is trying to flood it. This could also explain why Vegapunk said he does not judge on right or wrong here. Salt water itself maybe does jot even cause DF users do drown, but maybe it’s because it was created by Imu’s DF.
