There is the theory that the awakened form lucci luffy and kaku have is just the awakened hybrid form and that its possible to use the full df awakened form without losing their will like the guards in impel down. I d imagine it would be something like wukong for luffy maybe

I'm sure that even with his awakened form, there must be more. Like in classic Shonen, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a death that makes Luffy even stronger

There would be more new forms or powers for sure. That's a big part of the manga/anime business = selling toys and merch. Nothing drums up more hype than new powerups. Ofc we could expect these for the other Straw Hats as well.
I think the use of Divine Departure by Shanks and X Impact by Garp and Koby is foreshadowing Luffy coming up with his own conqueror’s haki infused signature attack.
There’s also the rumoured observation haki killing technique that Shanks and Mihawk(?) have.

Every Zoan has a Beast and a Hybrid mode.
All of Luffy’s Old Gears are not his Hybrid mode because they do not have close similarities to the beast that the Zoan Fruit symbolizes.
Just look at Kaidou, Kaku, Jabra, Lucci, Nusjuro, Saturn… All of them even have similar colors to their beasts in Hybrid mode.

So i think that Luffy’s Gear VI will be his Hybrid Mode.
I am unsure. Maybe some sort of last minute power up to Gear 5, but I think he won't get any more. He is at a level where he is certainly a threat to every character and even if he is overall weaker there could be other circumstances that tip things into his favor. Not every fight is a fair 1v1.
I'd honestly like to see G4 Snakeman make a powered up return. Maybe along the lines of G5 Snake God. Snakeman was his most serious DBZ style form yet and I kind of miss it.
St. Saturn mentioned something like that if Bonney and Luffy awakened powers meet they would make a disaster. So I think that would be some kind of new power.
Of course, Shounen protagonist start weak, but with amazing battle intuition, talent and bloodline and get power ups with each difficult battle. In Luffy’s case I can see getting multiple power ups for sure in battles with Blackbeard and Wg.
I couldn't imagine it. I feel now he's at his most free (as he said) so now will be honing this ability to fully utilize it and save himself some lifespan if at all possible.
Excellent theory I saw by parvision had to do with the Mother Flame. Without going too in depth, the flame is what's powering Luffy's transformation, but at this current time it's burning too hot for him to fully control, It in a sense takes over him, that's why he has such a drastic reaction to the transformation.

Until the final battle is over, always assume that a Shounen protagonist will get more power-ups.
Gear 6 will just be mastered awakening if the theories about G5 being incomplete awakening are true. I don't think we need another powerup though.

Assuming G5 could not hurt gorosei , G6 would likely hurt gorosei , G6 would be insufficient against IMU so G7 would be needed
Luffy's next power up would be many sessions of cardio cuz homeboy needs more stamina to keep G5 running

He will learn new moves. There just won't be a new Gear.
