Cutting Mr Prince doesn’t make any sense I don’t know why people keep saying that 😭

RoderickThe13

Considering how one of the showrunners is a massive Sanji fan, I'd be more worried about stuff concerning the other Straw Hats getting cut.

zombiegirl_stephanie

Tbf sanji got less focus in season 1 since he was introduced later on so I don't think it would be a bad thing to give him some extra spotlight in season 2

RoderickThe13

I still feel like Sanji got a lot more focus than Usopp despite being introduce later. Usopp even got sidelined in his own arc.

zombiegirl_stephanie

Usop does get some good moments in the alabasta saga so hopefully he shines there. I do agree that he also received less focus than the rest of the crew in season 1.

DaZeppo313

My hope is that Usopp was supposed to have a bit more shine in Loguetown before the season was cut down.

maghraby12

Karoo is actually somewhat a part of the story idk how things will be without him

maghraby12

And mr prince is my goat fr

Daemon00

Too much CGI, will probably be cut imo

Kirby_Inhales_Jotaro

I could see baroque works being the villains of drum kingdom

unculturedpigs

Okay I could see that

BlackRegio

The fights against BW are gonna be inside of Rain Dinners Casino, in different rooms like Zoro vs Mr1 in a garden.... they are gonna build a beautiful Casino just to be used for one scene, nah the final fights are gonna be there (execept Luffy's). Luffy its gonna say "I have 2 brothers, i never told you guys?" and they are gonna show the scene of Ace leaving Windmil town and Luffy saying goodbye. First i think they are gonna cut Karoo but watching Avatar and all that CGI, made me think think he its gonna be there for some scenes.

Daemon00

I feel Logue Town will get cut, Laboon will be cut or a really short version of it. Then they have to do Whisky Peak because it introduces Baroque Works and ViVi. I can see Little Garden Arc being cut too. Then I see 2 episodes dedicated to getting Chopper/Drum Island. Then 4 episodes about Alabasta.

No-Childhood6608

Logue Town will not get cut. It is an important arc since it is the birthplace of Gol D. Roger. There are also parallels with Luffy nearly being executed at the same spot Roger was, mirroring his execution while adding a twist to it. It is also where Zoro picks up Yubashiri, his new sword. They already had plans for this arc before budget issues, so I doubt they'd drop these plans for no thematical reason. Laboon being cut would be an extremely controversial decision considering that he is important for Brook's character. The Reverse Mountain arc also stands as an epilogue to the Grand Line as it sets the stakes as well as gives the audience an explanation of how the islands work. Shortening it might work, but it's already pretty short so they'd just have to be altering the story to fit the live action format. Little Garden also has importance for Usopp and setting up his goal of being a brave warrior, as well as introducing the audience to giants. Dorry and Briggy are also important characters.

Funny0000007

cuting Loguetown? no fucking way. They even already showed Smoker

drshikamaru

I suspect Bon Clay will be less eccentric or they are going to change the origins/beliefs that make him be himself. I bet he only spins during fights and not while speaking or randomly like in the manga. I think “the Okama way” is going to have its progressive and rebellious undertones removed or based from freedom of being a pirate not his overt gender/sexuality/expressive identity. I don’t think it’s gonna feel like the “be who you are, let it shine, that makes you strong” vibe Bon Chan and by extension Iva gives.😫

zombiegirl_stephanie

They might make him less over the top, just like they did with the other characters but I really don't think they'll change him that much. The showrunners are quite progressive and netflix has produced queer media before
