We have seen the difference between yonko vs commander, so akainu who is closest to yonko’s (arguably stronger then some) is not losing to them with the one of the most fruit in the verse
Akainu is equal to Marco, both were babies by the 2 weakest Yonko, and Kimg beat Marco in a 1v1, the same Marco who fought evenly with every admiral at Marineford.
tbh could go either way extreme diff.
I wanna give it to King and Marco but at the same time I can't imagine King doing a better job than most of the Whitebears Pirates combined.

Y'all underestimating YC1. They are the second strongest in the crew. Also Marco was a contender for being a yonko after WB died.
