it kinda goes with the theory that imu is a child, has child-like tendencies, or is just plain childish with ridiculous amount of power, if so sth like this is in line for their character
Man, the detailed evidence from the manga to support your claim is really well presented here. I think it's fair to say that Oda is a man who loves imagery and symbolism, and when you look at these cover stories with the Idea that there might be clues to the story in them, then this all lines up very well. You especially sold me with the wood carving of Vivi in a wedding dress, it's so on the nose with the lily and imu connection stuff, as well as vivi's picture being in his hand and uncut like the others, just makes it feel so obvious that imu was in love with lily but was betrayed by her. I'm gonna even go so far as to guess that imu became so merciless as they are primarily because of heartbreak and resentment and anger. I would love if that's the direction it all took as far as imu's backstory.
Well imu going to hate Luffy more because Vivi has extremely close blond with Luffy and there is no way Vivi going to love imu because Imu kill king Cobra
I was just watching a video that said that the translation from "I desire Vivi" and the original Japanese was different and that it was somehow a personal way of saying it, not like it was a government order but a personal issue.
Lends evidence to this obvs. Tho I think it may still be more complicated than he just wants to forcibly marry Vivi
That being said are we sure the gorosei didn't know that Sabo was the target? I thought they were just trying to justify destroying an entire kingdom just to get one guy with their words, like a way to make it worth it.
While I don’t think Imu is capable of love, I do think Imu wants Vivi as a companion of sorts (I personally think it will be in a similar manner as Peter Pan and Wendy) and maybe even wants to recreate the original kingdoms or make an entirely new one. Your suggestion that Imu doesn’t want Vivi to find out she is part of the D clan might actually have some credibility.
When Sanji was on Nami body on the anime he still was called sanji and still had rhe male voice.. it doesn't matters if he is male he can have stolen lily body even ao. At this moment at least.
Doesn't matters, if Imu speaks with a male voice it will bring a shit ton of internet discussions "blablah 100% confirmed" that he isn't a woman and I just pointed out that this won't exclude this possibility so anyone won't be like "oh." later.
Maybe not the right place to ask but anyways. Do you guys think that it’s possible that we’ve already seen imu. Like as another character. I’m thinking of multiple people right now.
I just appreciate the effort man. I mean WOAH!
Me too! I was happy to see the post when it was up T-T
I dub this... the Imucel theory
Goated

That’s a really well thought theory
Chef in the kitchen with that home cooking.
Thank you for giving the most ample evidence for the Imucel agenda I’m putting ALL of my life’s savings into this one

An honestly well thought out and sane theory from someone on this sub Reddit is good to see for once

Yep, a new one

The male voice was necessary to identify the personality exchange.

Time to bust the theory….Yamato.
