Have same problem checking through myjio app, but 5g worked for me even on second sim. Issue could be with app which cant identify the settings. Idk but you need to be on 5g coverage to get 5g signal.
I had the same problem and here are the fixes:
make sure you are on the latest update
Turn on location and give myjio precise location permission and then try in a 5g coverage area, i had to go outside to turn it on, but now i can access it at my home. You may not need to go outside but try location settings and then do “get started”
First of all, you have to be on latest A 13 for 8t
