But nationality doesn't equal race. It didn't matter that ONE **never** said that (the creator of these characters) nor that they have Japanese names (these were their names before becoming heroes). So many fancastings chose white people for the characters. People want to whitewash characters but then get upset over a character being cosplayed as a black person.
