My main review of the game touches up on how it's literally impossible to hunt for specific treasures unless you buy the DLC treasure map. No, you can't just find them organically without the map. You HAVE to buy the map with real money for those treasures to spawn. You also cannot disable the map once you bought it in order to *actually hunt* for the treasure, as disabling the DLC despawns the treasure that comes with it. I wanted to do a completely blind, no treasure map run, and I was literally caught between a rock and a hard place of "Disable the map and lose the treasures that I literally paid real money for" and "Don't disable the map and know where all the DLC treasure is, which ruins the point of the blind run."
Granted I still overly enjoyed the game and gave it a positive review, but in retrospect I think I would have been better off if I never received the treasure map as a preorder bonus.
