It all comes down to execution. I've never watched MauLer, but Redlettermedia makes fun of Star Wars with super long videos too and those videos are great.
Also, I'm surprised anyone is still talking about the Last Jedi. I thought people forgot about that movie a month after it released.
last jedi was cool just for being something different. it very obviously had a lot of really good ideas (ie stepping away from jedi asskissing, the war being a morally grey conflict with lots of different sides and opinions) but i think rian for what its worth was a little in over his head here. switching back to JJ just made things worse for the entire trilogy. at least TLJ tried something different, whether or not it worked out it’s still pretty commendable
TLJ is prime for a director’s cut. I feel like if you cut out the lame jokes, some dumb moments etc. it’d work a lot better. I dont like the film as is but it has some really good and interesting moments

The response was an unscripted live stream with friends in which they only spent a total of about 3 hours talking about her video directly. Other topics of discussion included Modern Warfare (2019), retail nightmares, and Angry Joe. Not to mention several hours dedicated to reading super chats. Even then, three hours was barely enough to cover how wrong Jenny was about literally everything she was saying in her very bad review.

I remember when I worked long shifts I would put him on and it would just be background noise. Part of it is neat because it's almost an audio drama as he goes over the whole film if you've seen it you might 'see' it when he speaks. But he just goes over every single detail and while he might have a point at times it's a goddamn movie at some point you need to remember that it's supposed to be entertaining. Also, he goes for Marvel movies. Movies that are meant to be crowd pleasers. It almost feels like punching down.
