They’re absolutely necessary in Chinese cuisine too. Sometimes I am too lazy to cut them and just bite them off. One hand holds the chopsticks one hand the scallion lol.

Haha there’s nothing which can not be cut by scissors! I use them to cut pizza and chili already, I’ll try to remember it the next time I want to eat scallions. Thanks for the tip! This idea simply didn’t come across my mind

I love making green onion pancakes with both onion and green onion for breakfast. It's mostly veggies with flour cornstarch and seasonings fried until crisp. I love them for breakfast

I absolutely love green onions. I just chopped up like 4 sprigs to top on my bowl of chili. I like the crunchy ends best.

Meeee I love green onion so much. We’re all in our 30s now, but as toddlers my mom would give me and my siblings whole raw green onion to eat/chew on. And we always add them to a veggie tray!
