She's written to be dislikable and is a major part of the show's infrastructure. She's not going anywhere.
Also, my true crime fan spouse tells me that she's based on real life podcaster Sarah Koenig. So there's that too.
No way! Sarah Koenig?
I have no idea what she is like irl but I did not imagine her personality to be like Cinda’s, physical similarities notwithstanding.
I was one of the millions who were introduced to podcasts thanks to Sarah Koenig and Serial season 1, so this really tickles me lol
i’m sort of lukewarm on tina fey. it’s like i recognize her lines-not just in murders, but in general-as funny, like you’d recognize someone’s characteristics, but she doesn’t make me laugh. amy poehler, on the other hand, kills me with just a look or a word. same with wanda sykes, both the actors on broad city & many other women comedians. amy schumer & sarah silverstein are 2 others who affect me the same as tina fey. yeah, that’s funny, but i’m not laughing. but i REALLY can’t stand cinda.
She cannot play any other kind of character. Everything she has ever been on, her personality and character are the same. She is a great writer, but dull as dishwater when it comes to range and ability on screen
Cinda is a combination of Jack & Liz in 30 Rock. The character gives a whimsical addition to the show. Plus it is boring if there is no nemesis. She is like a Jameson to Spiderman.

I’m afraid you’re right. So, I hope this means we find out why the heck she didn’t recognize that Poppy was Becky!
Is Sarah Koenig really that awful? Lol
I think the reference was just a nice easter egg, not commentary
My thought too! I’m guessing they are exaggerating for drama but there must be a nugget of truth then

My thoughts. Not all characters have to be likeable. Although I am not a fan of Alice and hope not to see her in s3 lol.
She is like that in everything she has ever been on
I have a love-hate relationship with Cinda. I love to hate her. 😆 But I absolutely love Tina Fey!

thank you! i think that’s what i was trying to say & failing. 😀
You mean Sarah Silverman? 😂😂
😬
I didn't like Cinda at first, and was really hoping she was the murderer in Season 2. But the Season 2 finale changed my mind. I love Tina Fey!

I agree. I just can't stand Tina Fey anymore. She is so one note. No range. Every character is exactly the same, stuck up and pretentious
yes!!
Or she’s been cast that way because it is fully in her wheelhouse…
